LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Taylored Athletes Summer Basketball Camp - Grandview Preparatory School
In 2015, our summer basketball camp program received great appreciation for our in-depth and intense basketball skill development regiment. The boys & girls who attended enjoyed a 1:9 trainer/camper ratios. Current NBA player Alonzo Gee provided teaching and instruction to youth, and our athletes reported a 40% increase in endurance, shooting efficiency, ball-handling, and confidence. Since 2008, our program has worked with over 3,000 youth and been featured in the Palm Beach Post, NPR, Sun-Sentinel, NBC 6, and ESPN760. 2016 Camp Location: Grandview Prep School - 336 Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 Camp Hours: 9:00am - 3:30pm Camper Drop Off Monday, June 6th, 2016- 8:15 am - 9:00am | After Monday - 8:30am - 9:00am Important Check - In Procedure - All campers must be signed in and out daily by an adult with an TA site administrator. Camp Jersey – All registered full week participants will receive a camp jersey on the first day. Jerseys can be worn daily, (not mandatory), but must be worn on Fun Friday. This camp is going to be specifically designed for our regular riders and our returning camp attendees. We will be honing skills in horse direction and control with speed and obstacles, as well as reviewing all horse care and horse anatomy. This camp is for ages 5-14 and is Tuesday through Friday 8a-12pm with a demonstration and barbeque on Friday for family to attend and see what they learned.

Tap for Beginners (Youth) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This course is designed as an introductory course for children who are interested in trying tap for the first time or would like to work on their technique and tap vocabulary. In this class the students will learn the basics of the American Musical Theatre tap dance style, as well as choreography to at least one song. Students will learn basic tap terminology along with tap performing techniques which will provide the student with a well-rounded knowledge of tap dance. This class is designed for 2nd-8th grade students. INSTRUCTOR MICHAEL PAGE graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelors degree in Theater, focusing on Musical Theater Performance, Directing, Dance/Choreography, and Lighting. He has been very active for the past 10 years in the Alexandria theater community, working with theaters such as; MVCCT, PCP, ACCT, and LTA. He has directed, choreographed, and fight choreographed children and adults alike.
