Day Camp-July 25-29 - City of Evans
Come and join us for a summer filled with fun and adventure! Dont let your kids spend the summer sitting around the house with nothing to do. We will be offering new and creative activities for the kids to do this summer. Activities will include but are not limited to games, arts and crafts, science experiments, team building, cooking, sports, and swimming. Each week a different theme will be explored by the campers. Evans Summer Day Camp visits the pool twice a week, the movies once a week, and field trips every Friday. Campers have the chance to sign up for discounted swimming lessons, transportation included! All staff are CPR and First Aid certified and we are a licensed program through the state of Colorado. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fees include activities. Participants must bring a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack from home each day. Field trips are an additional cost. An e-mail will be sent to you with a parent workbook of required forms as well as a handbook of our policies and procedures. A MANDATORY Parent Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at 5:30 pm. Shooting Skills Camp - Colorado Christian University (Event Center)
This camp is designed to help campers learn the high level fundamental skills needed to become a great shooter. Coach Lubbers teams have consistently ranked as one of the best FT and 3PT shooting teams not only in the RMAC but in the country. CCU Consistently ranks in the top 10 in the country in 3PT%, FT%, 3PTFG Made and FT Made. In 2015 Coach Lubbers led CCU to the programs 1st ever National Championship. Students will use the summer school session to work on basic acting skills, and then apply those skills as they rehearse and perform a play for the last day of class. The class exposes students to the dramatic process and gives them an opportunity to apply what theyve learned to a final project. This camp combines the best of all our lake ecology, maritime heritage and adventure skills— for kids who love to be outdoors! We will explore the waterfront environment on bikes; explore shipwrecks with masks, snorkels and fins; and take an expedition down a river as original inhabitants of the Champlain Basin would have. Well be on the go but have enough down-time for swimming, playing games and having fun on the waterfront each day. 802-475-2022
