We teach sportsmanship through many activities including Swimming, Scuba Instruction, Soccer, Dodgeball, Gymnastics, Kickball, Skits, Team-Building Games, and many more... Each day starts at Karrer Middle School where we play team sports in the morning. Every afternoon we take a field trip to the pool, an indoor sports facility, a gymnastics facility, and others. Whats Up With Water? (7/25/16 to 7/29/16) - Aurora
Where is all our water? Is water a renewable resource? In this program participants will explore this question through hands-on water chemistry experiments and other investigations that will help explain why access to clean fresh water has become one of our WGP---Worlds Greatest Problems---and why we need to solve it. Participants will develop a website to communicate what they have learned as well as explore other technical solutions that can help us all make every drop count! (630)9075950

With so many things to be made and modified to satisfy an imagination, why not focus on the wonder of robots? This class takes Crafty Computing a step further with more complex projects to challenge fine motor skills and brainpower with Robot themed projects. (804) 727-9817
Camp Gulls: Week 5 - Warren-Walker La Mesa Campus
DAILY ACTIVITIES: Camp Gulls action-packed program features a variety of daily and weekly activities. Students are divided into age-appropriate groupings and are provided a dynamic schedule that balances academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits. Each week will have a theme that ties classes and field trips together. While the theme is the same for all age-groups, the individual classes and field trips may differ. Extended Care & Point Loma Bus (if needed) are included in the camp tuition. THIS WEEKS THEME: Mystery & Magic Classes and activities, such as Super Sleuths, CSI, Mythology, Mystery Theatre, Secrets of Coding, Magic Made Easy, and Scavenger Hunts will all inspire curious campers! This week-long, intensive band experience is designed for middle school students who are entering grades 6-8 and have AT LEAST ONE YEAR of band experience. Led by Natick middle school band directors Scott Morrill and Dave Drapeau, sessions will be a blend of full band work and breakouts by instrument. Students will focus on skills and musicianship and work towards performing several songs as a full band by the end of the week. The purpose of this clinic is to introduce one of the fastest growing paddle sports in the U.S. This is a great opportunity to practice hand-eye coordination and to learn the proper technique of forehand, backhand, volleys and serves. Drills and practice games will be part of each clinic.
