Basketball Kid Camp - Summerville, GA
The Chattooga High School Boys’ Basketball Team is hosting our annual basketball camp for boys and girls in Kindergarten – 8th grade in the beatiful new gym! Camp Dates: Monday, July 18th – Thursday, July 21st Time: The camp will begin each morning at 9:00 a.m. and will run through 12:00 p.m. each day. Cost: $30 per camper. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Campers will also receive lunch each day. Kids can be signed up the morning of the first day of camp (next Monday, the 18th) beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms/payments may also be dropped off with Amanda Larkins at CHS Tuesday-Friday this week between 9:00 and 3:00. We will post the registration form on the page in case anyone wants to print and complete it in advance. We will accept cash and/or checks made payable to CHS Boys' Basketball.

It's that time of year again!This is the first in our series of Teen Camp service projects for those of you who may need financial assistance in order to go to camp. You must complete this project if you're going to need a half or full scholarship. Don't know if you need a scholarship? Well, even if you have an inkling that you might need one, you should be there. But this project is also open to all, so if you just want to help out, join us! The project will involve cleaning out and sprucing up the public planters along Wentworth Avenue and Cermak Road in Chinatown. The project will begin at 9 AM and end around 1 PM. Lunch will then be provided to all who serve, at Ricobene's. Questions, message Kent Lau or Chi Chan. See you there!

For children going into 2nd and 3rd grade Snakes, frogs and turtles! Campers will be immersed into the habits and characteristics of reptiles and amphibians, including time with live animals. Camp will also include walks, crafts, games and stories. All campers will receive a free camp tee shirt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * This program will take place regardless of the weather. * Campers must bring a sack lunch if staying for lunch with the counselors. * Lunch with the counselors is an additional $10. * Register before June 1st and receive a $5.00 discount. Composing for Video Games - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Take your creativity to the next level and learn to compose music that enhances your video gaming experience. Even if youve never tried composing before you can learn to manipulate sounds to make the action on your screen come alive. Students will use Propellerheads Reason/Record software in our portable music technology lab to compose music for existing video games as well as create music for their own game concepts and scenes. Any student currently enrolled in band, orchestra or choir is welcome to join this camp, even if you havent had any composing experience. Family and friends are invited to attend a multi-media performance on the last day of camp. Register for either the morning or the afternoon session the week of June 27-July 1. Mua Mi Villagers are entering grades 8 and 9 live in tipis —weather permitting. Activities are geared to a more independent community experience. Mua Mi Villagers are active participants in their program planning, which includes advanced outdoor skills, waterfront skills, as well as advanced archery and the climbing wall.
