I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. Youth Summer Boot Camp - Nolensville, TN
Boot camp Specifics: Advanced horsemanship with an emphasis in ground skills training, barrels, poles, jumping, trails, and obstacle competitions. Camp Details: Campers will learn about our everyday ranch life, experiencing what it's like to care for and tend to horses on a daily basis. They will work with our herd every day. Horseback Riding is a huge part of every day's activities. Campers learn Western and Huntseat Disciplines as well as horse health/hoof care, tack care & equine science. Advanced riders become a part of drill team exercises and are challenged to consistently improve their skills. Campers will be a member of a ranch family team in which they will have responsibilities. Crossroads Ranch Summer Camp is about young people taking an opportunity to get back in touch with themselves. The pace of the world slows down, they will have time to share and experience nature’s reality, every moment is NOT booked with entertainment but through being surrounded by creation and all of its purpose, we learn more about ourselves and our purpose. This camp was a blast last year and this year will be even better! I will be using it as my senior project this year. It is June 27-29th from 6-9pm at Kuna High School track. "I love that 100% of the camp fee will go to the Kuna Cross Country Team!" -Nancy Simper "I loved it! we had so much fun! It was sad when it was done! Can you please sign me up for it again?" -Ella Richards (camper) "My children absolutely loved the running camp. They learned great skills and got a good workout, but they definitely had fun doing it!" -Emily Richards Campers can expect a whole lot of fun at this camp as they participate in exciting running games, obstacle courses, relays and endurance building activities. These activities are all meant to challenge and instill confidence in our young athletes. Campers of all abilities are encouraged to join. No experience is necessary.
