(FSCA) Florida Sportsmen's Conservation Association 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Our Annual event is scheduled for February 6,2016 at the Everglades Youth Camp in J W Corbett WMA. We are expecting over 1,500 children of all ages to come and enjoy various activities. In an effort to reduce the increasing decline of our children's interest in the outdoors, FSCA has created an Outdoor Youth Day. Outdoor Youth Day is a Program specifically designed to educate children to many different recreational activities available in our natural areas but munch more importantly have some fun outdoors. This is the 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day event and It’s FSCA biggest day of the year. Youth Day has buggy rides, canoeing, pony rides, airboat rides and displayed, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV. Go Kids Camp - Emerson - Emerson Elementary
This program is devoted to educating youth about the importance of healthy living. Participants learn about nutrition and physical fitness through informational speakers, recreational activities and field trips. Participants must attend the first and last week of the program. Parents of participants are required to attend 3 meetings to educate the family on the program and teaching healthy living at home. First parent meeting is June 1st from 6-7p at Banner Childrens Medical Center. Parents are required to attend the pre-camp meeting to sign health screening waivers and receive the camp calendar.
