The Perfect Vacation
I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. LWC will be serving chili, chicken & noodles, and baked potatoes at the museum's annual Kansas Day celebration. Various desserts will also be served. Proceeds will go towards sending students in grades 3-5 to camp this summer. LWC expects to send over 20 kids to camp this year. About Sign your child up for a fun filled week of cheerleading with the NYS Express Cheer Team and coaches. We will be teaching a variety of skills and drills including motions, jumps, stunting, sideline cheers and tumbling. STEM literacy relates to a students ability to understand and apply concepts from science, technology, engineering and mathematics in order to solve complex problems. Campers will use LEGO WeDo to constructing their own stories with over 20 main characters models featuring working motors and sensors to choose from; code their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities that develop their literacy skills of reading, writing, designing, speaking and listening.
