This camp gives kids a great introduction to theater arts in a nurturing and warm atmosphere using beach-themed scene and music. We are now taking reservations for PRE-TEEN CAMP! Ages are kids in grades 3-5 (just completed). Camp will be at the Pineywoods Baptist Camp in Woodlake, TX, July 30-August 3, 2016. Times shown are approximate. We will release schedule closer to the date. Cost is $275 Total, with a $50 deposit due upon registration. We will be taking a charter bus to the camp. Youth Curator Camp Virginia Museum of Natural History Saturday, December 19 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Youth Curator Camp is an opportunity for children ages 6 to 12 to learn about the museum while participating in fun, hands-on activities and programs. Parents and guardians – this is a great opportunity for your children to experience a day of scientific adventure and discovery while you finish up any last-minute holiday shopping! Campers will meet the museum’s scientists and learn about real museum collections. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. The day camp will begin at 8:30am the rest of the week. Each day we will have fundamental and individual skill work in the mornings. Typical afternoons will focus on team defensive work and situational baseball and generally will end around 3:30PM at which time you may leave for home. All campers will ride. Basic Horsemanship and safety will be taught. Campfire cooking skills will be included. Healthy snacks and lunch provided.
