[UCLA UniCamp is a non-profit organization that sends youth from all over Los Angeles up for a week of camp to get away from everyday life for a bit and create the environments they want for themselves, "singing songs, playing games, and changing lives."] I know what you're thinking. Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction - Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 - Lewis
On Friday, April 29th, 2016, Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 will be hosting their annual Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction. The event will take place at the Lewiston Community Center (1424 Main Street - Lewiston, ID) from 6pm-9pm. The cost is $5/person, or $20 for a family of 5. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. Royal Family KIDS Camp is a non-profit week-long summer camp for foster children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, etc. All of the proceeds from this event go directly to the children we support. Pauma Valley Competitive Edge Camp - Pauma Valley Country Club
The PGA Junior Golf Camps Competitive Edge Golfer programs offer serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. Offered at select locations, the Competitive Edge camps are taught by some of the countrys leading and most successful junior golf instructors, many of whom are former top junior golfers themselves. The camps concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels. 7th-9th Grade film campers in are in for a fun and exciting hands-on introduction to the media arts in a beautiful natural setting. Start the week filming around the natural beauty of the Icicle Creek Campus, followed by two days of editing and post production. From concept to final cut, young filmmakers will experience each step of the creative process and experiment with new technologies. Campers will learn how to conduct a meaningful interview, handle a camera, set up a shot, record audio, and even shoot aerials from a drone. And once the footage is all gathered, of course, it all has to be organized and edited. By the end of the week, campers will have planned, shot and edited their own movie and well cap it all off with a family screening complete with popcorn!
