Working collaboratively in pairs, students will discover how to build objects in 3D suitable for 3D printing, utilizing the online platform, TinkerCad. Smart with Art educators will teach students to work with 3D design elements, learn about creating art in perspective, all while exploring practical applications of 3D technology. We will challenge their spatial skills with ocean themed, art-related activities. Students will be able to create a personalized 3D model to print and take home at the end of class. Amazing Summer
I have very fond memories of my own summer camp experiences and wanted my daughters to build their own memories. Little did I know they would be so overjoyed to go to Hidden Valley. THE COST IS $35. There are only 80 spaces!! You are not signed up until you pay for it. Food! Fun! Friends!! Fishing!! Fire!!! Fresh Air and Fellowship!!! "It's the nature of the place." Riverside Retreat, formerly the South Florida United Methodist Camp, was renamed in 2006 for its location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Our nearly 150 acres are dotted with open meadows and grassy corridors surrounded by a lush forest of pines, cypress, palms, live oaks and other native species. The varied habitat provides beauty and the opportunity for exploration and appreciation of creation, as noted in our motto.
Teen Adventure Camp - undefined, NC
In this program, designed exclusively for teenagers, students will develop a new sense of confidence and empowering self-reliance as they explore nature, ancient skills, and the lore of the Native Americans. Wilderness Survival Skills are the core of this program. Students will learn numerous outdoor skills, such as Primitive fire-making, shelter building, safe water purification and how to identify wild edible and medicinal plants. From here we'll expand outward and introduce your teenagers to variety of nature awareness exercises. These lessons will engage and enhance all of their senses and heighten their level of Awareness for their entire lives. Teens will come away with a true understanding and respect for nature and life in this great program.
The W Theater Presents, "Acting Up" A Children & Teen Performing Arts
The W Theater proudly presents, "Acting Up" A Children & Teen Performing Arts Camp. If you have a child or teen between the ages of 6 and 18 and they love "Acting Up", please register them for this camp (workshop). Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11am - 5pm at the Broward County Main Library Auditorium Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. There will be age appropriate acting and singing classes with experienced instructors and assistants. Girls Basketball - Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP main gym About: NDP girls basketball camp teaches young players the fundamentals of the game. Those new to the sport will learn the skills of ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense, while more experienced players will be challenged to further develop their competency in those areas. While great focus is paid to individual skill work, ample time is devoted to a variety of competitions. Running the camp is NDP coach Kathleen Offer, who played collegiately at Yale and has coached in the Fighting Irish program for eight years. The entire staff, which includes current NDP girls basketball players and coaches, is dedicated to challenging the campers to the best of their ability while they have lots of fun with old and new friends. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, basketball shoes, socks and water bottle. All participants must register online. No paper applications are accepted.* 248-373-5300

Younger campers need a lot of reassurance and unconditional love, and that is exactly what they get at 7/11 Camp. For many kids, 7/11 Camp will be their first experience away from home. So, every action-packed 7/11 day hums with words of love and encouragement sung by a staff hand-picked for their Christ-like patience and sensitivity. Counselors coach and praise the kids while they learn and explore through games, pool activities, and much more. Each activity leads to greater confidence and character building. Counselor training builds moral and spiritual application into each and every activity session. Camp Chemistry Morning - Newtons Attic
Camp Chemistry can be taken as a full day class or half-day, either morning or afternoon. To register for the full day, please register for both half-days. Morning and afternoon experiments will not be repeated, so students will have new material in each session. Glowing water, blue and red flames, and mountains of oozing foam are everyday occurrences in Camp Chemistry at Newtons Attic. This camp will expose students to the fun and sometimes bizarre world of chemistry, chemical reactions and exciting things that can be made with the right mixture of knowledge, chemicals and materials. In addition to playing with (safe) chemicals, students will work in the shop to fabricate various items, such as test tube holders and similar gadgets that will aid in their exploration of the world of chemistry. Everyone gets to keep everything they make or do at Newtons Attic so that the fun and learning can continue long after camp is over. So, lets all put on our safety glasses, lab aprons and rubber gloves and see what strange potions we can concoct. 859-368-7334
