Natural Wonders - The Evergreen School
Through exploration in magical kingdoms and enchanted forests, our children will be enjoying each others company nature acting as princesses, princes, leprechauns, and fairies. Well be getting dirty this week! Well be dancing, creating costumes, enjoying tea parties, all while caring for the flora and fauna around us because well be in nature. This is a class of storybook creative drama out in nature. Your child is more than welcome to bring in any pre-made costumes he/she already has for participation, we will also be supplying costumes. Class meets on: 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/29, 4/5 and 4/12. KidzArt was developed with the philosophy that learning to draw creates confidence, and we take art classes to a new level. Through engaging the imagination in a new way and creating a safe environment to take risks, students will soar with KidzArt. KidzArt introduces students to various mediums such as color marker, pencil, pastel, watercolor, charcoal, and clay. Projects never repeat, all new lessons every session and every year! KidzArt impacts childrens lives by sparking their creative process in other areas as well. KidzArt reaches the artistic individual as well as those who never thought they could draw. Junior Lifeguarding Camp - Alga Norte - Alga Norte Community Park
Participants must be able to swim 50 yards of front crawl as well as 50 yards of breaststroke in good form. American Red Cross Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors will lead participants through two water sessions per day which will include group lectures on Aquatics Safety as well as introductions to Aquatic Sports. On the last day, participants will have the opportunity to use our giant inflatables and will take part in a Junior Lifeguarding Competition. Sounds Of Silence - Connolly Ranch
Sounds of Silence is a guided program designed specifically for infants to two year old children. It is a time for parent and child to leave the noisy, often over-stimulated world and connect through gestures, body language and facial expressions. The class moves slowly and calmly creating a safe, relaxing environment for very little people to experience our ranch and the wonders of Mother Nature. With no chit-chatting from the adults, there is a distinct and beautiful emphasis on what each child is noticing and how they are interacting with that plant, rock, animal or new friend. Throughout Sounds of Silence, the Barn Faerie shows and models a myriad of ways to support you and your young child in seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and awakening to the natural world.
