Afternoon Escapades An afternoon camp for those looking for an exciting addition to their day! Ages 3 - 12 yrs 12:30- 3:30pm Staff to camper ratio 1:6 Week 1 Located at the Recreation Department at Green Lake/ Yates Park Afternoons will be structured and filled with camp activities such as Arts and Crafts, Archery, Boating, Splash Pad, nature activities and themed activities which would be different each and every day. Are your campers already signed up for Sports camp or Minicamp but want to take advantage of this new program? Not a problem!! Register your campers for both and our staff will walk and sign your campers into Afternoon Escapades after their morning program ends. Register weekly for all or just a few! Moon Walk: Teen Pagan Camp - La Mesa, CA
All Paths Welcome. If you are a teen, please join us at Briercrest Park in La Mesa from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, October 10th for a jam-packed metaphysical teen workshop! We'll be learning grounding & centering techniques, how to shield and how to work with Spirit Animals. The camp is FREE, but a signed parent permission slip is required to participate. Are you looking for an activity for your kids during Christmas Break? We will be offering a HOLIDAY KIDS CAMP. The cost is $60/week per child aged 3-10 and we will have a pizza party for the kids on the last day. We will provide a light snack and drink during the sessions. Children learn math concepts through games, songs, learning centers, whole group activities and everyday math related experiences and problem solving. Children develop number recognition, counting skills and learn to use numbers and language to compare quantities and solve problems. Sorting, patterning, measurement, graphing, shapes and number formation are included in the number sense curriculum. Full-Day Newcomer Camp - Stanford University
The Full-Day Newcomer Camp is for those who want to spend a full-day with the Stanford Coaching Staff and college players learning the game of golf! The philosophy of the Newcomer Golf Camp is to introduce the game of golf to juniors aged between 5 and 12 with either no experience or a couple of years of instruction. Campers will learn the fundamentals of the game in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Instruction will be given at a pace intended to maintain the attention of campers and at the same time be appropriate for each individuals skill level. Active and energetic instructors will lead the youngsters through a series of games and exercises that will develop confidence and passion for the game. Groups will be organized by current skill level. The camp environment is designed to allow participants to meet other young golfers and help foster an enthusiasm and passion for the game.
