The High School Band Camp is designed for musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced. It is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11, or 12. This session features four concert bands each conducted by an outstanding high school director. The program includes sectionals, master classes, elective study, supervised practice, and optional private lessons. CrossFit HighGear offers two JumpStart camps to choose from! KIDS CAMP runs from June 6 - 10 while TEEN CAMP runs from June 13 - 17 both from 10 am - noon. Registration includes a t-shirt and daily snack! Campers will participate in a strength and conditioning program that combines gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics and weightlifting elements. Fashion Sewing Camp at The Sewing Room- Student Choice - The Sewing Room
Fashion Sewing Camp at The Sewing Room- Student Choice Learn to sew, draw, and express yourself through fashion! Join us for a week or two of fashion fun. Each child will complete a garment and model it in an informal fashion show at the end of the week. We explore different aspects of the design process throughout the camp. Machines and tools are provided at THE SEWING ROOM, but students must purchase a project either from THE SEWING ROOM or from a fabric store (not included in the price of the camp). A pattern list appropriate to the class will be sent out in May. Snacks are provided, however, please have your child bring lunch. 9am-3pm Monday - Friday 510-332-9807

This camp will teach you to use all of the features on your own camera while learning basic to advanced composition, exposure, focus, lighting and printing photos. We will take action, still life and landscape photos, so dress for the weather. We will print final photos and showcase the best in our summer camp art show. Visual Arts: From the homeland to the battlefront, art was used during WWII to promote duty and patriotism, capture historical moments and even as tactical strategy. Youll be stepping into the boots of the wartime poster artists behind the iconic Uncle Sam I Want YOU and Rosie the Riveter designs, combat artists that recorded the war firsthand and abstract artists that developed eye-manipulating military camouflage. Comedy: Abbott & Costello reigned as the 1940s "Kings Of Comedy," producing box office hits including "Buck Privates," "Hold That Ghost, and their 1948 monster masterpiece "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein." Their patter routine "Whos on First?" is one of the best-known comedy routines of all time. Recreate an Abott & Costello styled comedy to be filmed and aired before a live audiences during the performance of South Pacific! 5203190400.0

Ok, you arent thinking shells are ferocious are you? Youre thinking theyre beautiful and graceful? Well lightning whelks are beautiful and ferocious. Theyre also pretty fascinating! Lets snip open a lightning whelk egg case (youve probably seen one but didnt know what it was) and look at the hundreds of tiny whelks and the way they grow in a spiral. Lets do some spiralling art and dig down in the sand and pump water out the way whelks do. And lets look at how these creatures hunt! And for all you lefties out there, this is your shell! These whelks open to the left side while most of the other shells around here open to the right! (239) 472-8585
