Summer Camp 2015 - Antelope, OR
Horizon Youth is hosting our very first Summer Camp at Washington Family Ranch. This week long camp will be filled with all kinds of activities; basketball, volleyball, skateboarding, rock climbing, disc golf and hiking. If you’ve gone with us before to Winter Camp, you know just how great this camp is. How much more fun will it be to have access to more of what the camp has to offer in the summer months. Like swimming in the pool or zip lining across the lake, and driving go carts, just to name a few. Donnie Moore and his Radical Reality team will be our Guests Speakers all week and Tiffany and the band will be leading us in Worship each day. So grab some friends and register to go to camp, you’ll be challenged in your walk with God, encouraged in your faith and you’ll be able to start the new school year with confidence in who you are in Christ. Explore Art! ~ Papier Mache - Session 3 - The Arts Center
Students will learn to create human, animal or monster sculptures with papier mache. They will start by creating an armature from wire and newspaper. They will learn the best types of glues and to keep the mess to a minimum and speed drying times. We will use colored and painted papers for the final layer. In the last session, details will be added with a wide range of craft materials. The will learn how to create impressive sculptures that can be adapted for a range of school projects. Rock and Roll Band Camp - RRA Studio
A music band camp designed to allow five to seven year-olds a positive and powerful first experience with music making. One Week Demigod Institute - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Students will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. This program involves an application process which is begun with your students registration. Not all applicants are accepted. applicants who are not selected will be invited to participate as campers (early bird rates) Our highly acclaimed Demigod Institute program fosters innovation in students who are preparing for university in a variety of fields. As part of a close-knit team, the program is truly a hands-on training program, as the participants co-plan programs, lead quests, create collaborative innovative projects, assist in teaching activities, and share responsibility for the camp operations. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions.
