In October we will resume our homeschool series by following the changing seasons and further developing our our naturalist skills. Together well seek to develop an understanding of the unique ecology of this landscape while also deepening our connection to nature, ourselves and each other. This class is held entirely outdoors in wilderness conditions (no bathrooms or permanent structure for shelter) in all but extreme weather conditions. Well stay warm by keeping active, ducking out of the wind, soaking up the sun, and treating ourselves to snacks by occasional small campfires. Proper clothing--especially layers of wool--is essential, as is an adventurous, curious spirit! 978-463-2233

Week 6 5 Half Days PM ASCS Summer All Sports Camp - All Saints Catholic School
For Boys and Girls grades K-6. We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. Generally the groups contain children of no more than a year apart and we do our best to maintain an 8:1 ratio of campers to coaches and sometimes even 6:1 for our youngest groups. 12:30-4:00PM Instructors: Mr Depaolo and Peak Performance Sports Camps Staff 203-943-9598
Extreme Adventure Camp - Butler Campus
Extreme Adventure Camp is a two week coed camp for incoming 7th and 8th graders. The first week consists of adventurous activities and field trips based out of our Butler Campus. Field trips include indoor rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking / paddle boarding. There will also be numerous activities and adventure games at Butler Campus, including our Project Adventure high ropes challenge course. (Campers must bring their own bike and be proficient in cycling and swimming.) Week 1 will prepare students for our Extreme Adventure Trip (June 20 - 24) in Fayetteville, West Virginia, where campers will camp in tents, go rafting, rock climbing, and go on the tree top canopy tour and zip lines! *Please note participants must be twelve years old at the time of camp; demonstrate the ability to follow directions; and complete a skills assessment before going on the West Virginia trip. 216-455-0154

Campers bring snacks, lunch and beverage. Lunchtime supervision provided. Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology. Full Day, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Pick-up and Drop-off. Staff will pick up campers from your car at 8:00 AM and deliver back to your car at 4:00 PM. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Our program is strategically designed to engage children in various activities that enable them to apply their verbal, written, and comprehension skills in French while having oodles of fun! Under the guidance of French speaking teachers, your children participate in various recreational, creative, educational, and academic activities in French. The enriching environment provides an ideal condition for your child to learn/continue with the French language throughout the summer. This LEGO experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors inspired by the popular game, Minecraft. Campers will have a blast, even without prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO.
