Summer Language Camp: Week 2 - Lyman Campus
SUMMER LANGUAGE CAMP: Ages: Girls and Boys Entering Grades 3 - 6 Dates: June 27-July 1 and August 1-5 Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm Format: Two, one week sessions Location: Laurels Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights Tuition: $400/session This camp is designed to introduce students to modern languages while they experience summer fun including cooking, sports, arts, sightseeing and field trips throughout the city – in the target language. Your child will be immersed in language, culture and pure fun in this camp led by Laurel World Languages faculty and counselors who are fluent in the language. Languages are offered in an immersion setting to give campers the foundation they need to enter a language class at their grade level. While cooking tapas, crepes or egg rolls, our students spontaneously use their target language to request flavors, colors, and what they like and dont like. Summer campers have such a blast they often forget that they are experiencing it in another language! Language Camps Offered: Chinese, French, Spanish, (NEW FOR 2016: German and Italian) 216-455-0154

Tiny Tots camp is a great place to make new friends, learn new things, and have fun! This camp is geared toward the 4-6 year old age group and offers a wide variety of exciting activities. Your child will enjoy weekly themes, four exciting field trips, and lots of outdoor fun! The dedicated staff of the Hartland Recreation Department provides a safe and stimulating environment for all. Contact the Hartland Rec Department to learn more, sign up, and join the fun. It is required that your child brings sunscreen, a bag lunch, mid-afternoon snack, and plenty of water. Ratio of instructors to children is 1:5 for this camp. This summer we are happy to partner with the Manchester Athletic Club for an afternoon of tennis and summer fun. Students will be transported from Brookwood to the MAC each afternoon where the camp will feature an on-court tennis experience rain or shine daily. Tennis campers will improve their strokes and playing skills! There will also be time for open swim and other summer adventure. (Note: Students will be picked up at the MAC at 4:00.
