Description: Have a blast while exploring the fields, forests, and streams at Blue Jay Point. We will learn about mammals, insects, reptiles and amphibians as we hike, do crafts, and play games. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Critter Capers is a three-day half-day mini-camp at Blue Jay Point County Park for children ages 6-8. All participants should wear play clothes, closed-toe shoes (like sneakers or day hikers) and bring weather appropriate outerwear to each camp session. Wild Outdoors Adventure Nature Camp - EcoAdventures
Wild Outdoors Adventure Nature Camp July 5th – 7th 9am – 4pm $245 Ages 8+ *limited participants to go in our Snake ECO Van Campers will experience the wild outdoors with this specialty camp. They will spend the day at one of our local parks (Kinder Farm, Quiet Waters/Downs Park, Sandy Point). We will be hitting the trails and learning compass, navigation, survival, & animal tracking skills. Knot tying is also in order for this camp. Campers will get a chance to go fishing and make their very own fishing poles. Try your luck at crabbing and maybe even kayaking? Set up turtle traps and help with turtle research at Kinder Farm Park, then make a splash with catching critters through seining and seeing what is out in our own Chesapeake Bay. CAMP DETAILS Fractured Fairy Tales Week In our Fractured Fairytale world, students will learn how to adapt traditional fairytales using unexpected characterization, modified points of view and bizarre plot development. Working as an ensemble well then dramatize our new fractured fairy tale using music and movement. Working alongside one of our professional teaching artists students will also play fun theater games and learn how to develop characters for the stage. This camp aims to cultivate creativity and give participants experience of creating their very own theater piece. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals. Throughout the week we will also work together to create prop, costume and set pieces to use in our culminating original show that highlights our collaborative efforts! 773-944-9146

Inspire Basketball Camp (Week 1) - St. Davids School
Please come out this summer and spend the day with Coach Will Coley and his staff. Coach Coley is the varsity boys coach at St. Davids School. He has played at the collegiate level and also has 10 years experience at the professional level in Europe. This summer we are offering a full day of basketball! Hours now go from 9am to 4pm. Students will be taught and exposed to the fundamentals of basketball starting at the basics and building up to the more advanced skills. There will be numerous games and contests ranging from shooting to 3 on 3 to 5 on 5 games. Students will be broken up into age groups and skill levels. Whether you are the beginning player or the player who plays every day we are sure that we will have something to challenge you. Trophies and certificates will be given at the conclusion of camp.
