It’s my new year!”–Spirit Quest Teen Camper Spirit Quest for Teens is for 13-17-year-olds, who are moving into young adulthood and who need a safe, nurturing place to reflect on where they have been, where they are going and who they are becoming. Camping together, teens develop deep connections to their selves, their peers, their elders and Nature through --council circles, --team-building games, --nature-awareness activities and hikes, --poetry and art --movement and improv --drumming and journeying --sharing in meal preparation --solo time in nature --fire ceremonies and sweat lodges --mediation and yoga Life-long friendships are formed or deepened; issues of self-esteem and soul work are explored with a true honoring of each teen’s unique path. Teens are invited to camp for the whole week, beginning on Sunday afternoon and ending Saturday at noon to allow for more time together. Offensive Skills Camps Session I: Grades 8-12 - James A. Rhodes Arena
This session of our Offensive Skills Camp is for boys and girls entering grades 8th-12th. Each player will have detailed instruction, film analysis, shooting instruction, and Division I college basketball practice each day with an emphasis on offensive skills. High School Advanced - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The High School Advanced Camp is designed to create a highly competitive environment with the majority of our campers planning on pursuing a college baseball career. Mornings typically concentrate on drills and position work, while the afternoon and evening sessions feature actual games. Check-in will be held Sunday morning with evaluation sessions that morning and afternoon and a skills session that evening. Monday will feature morning skill instruction and games in the afternoon and evening. Tuesday will feature games followed by a late afternoon check-out. The High School Camp has featured representatives from the following schools in past years: Georgetown, Richmond, Lafayette, Brown, Columbia, Bucknell, Wesleyan, Haverford, Swarthmore, Davidson, Franklin & Marshall, University of New Haven, Dickinson, Bates, and Cornell. **The names of coaches in attendance will be given after check-in on Sunday. July 25-28: Volcanoes Rock! (Ages 5-6) - Mountain Kids!
New Mexico is one of the best places on earth to see volcanic rock formations and many types of rocks. We will travel to see volcanic tuff and learn how it was formed by a two volcanic eruptions more than a million years ago. We will go to the Valles Caldera to see the source of the eruption and participate in a service project there on a long day trip. 7B. Summer Camp - Jr Minecraft Lego Robotics - 5 Days - Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab
Jr. engineers and Lego builders will love this camp by bringing Minecraft to life with Lego! Build a motorized walking creeper, a terrifying Ghast, or anything Minecrafty that your imagination can think of! This project-based camp combines the basic format of our engineering themed programs based on the world of Minecraft. Students will use the Systems Engineering V to design, plan and explore real-world concepts in physics, engineering and architecture while building their favorite Minecraft objects.
