CAMP COLLEY OVERNIGHT YOUTH CAMPS Overnight Youth Camps are designed to teach riding skills, horse care, canoeing and outdoor recreational skills. Life skills such as responsibility, empathy, and communication are emphasized in each activity. Campers ride a minimum of two hours per day in a series of riding lessons, games, and trail rides. Camp Colley partners with Hunkapi Horse Programs to provide overnight camps. This unique partnership will give campers additional opportunities at camp including, but not limited to, hiking, nature education, CANOEING, mountain biking, archery, and arts and crafts. Campers depart from the Kiwanis Ramada near the Splash Pad at Fountain Park at 8:30 AM on Monday and return at 4:00 PM on Wed. Camp Activities Include: Daily teambuilding and self -development exercises Field trips to the local fire tower, swimming, hiking, arts and crafts and much more! Fern Valley Farm Kid's Summer Day Camp - Farm Tracker Week - Bristol,
Session #6 – “Farm Trackers Camp” - July 18-21, Ages 6-12 Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Join us on the farm tracking BIG ANIMALS – Farmer Larry will teach you all about how to track animals on the farm. Go on daily nature hikes to track our "big" farm animals. . Learn how animals help make our work easier - which animals dig our garden and which help clear the land. Daily crafts include making your own "Animal Track" necklace to wear and take home, making and decorating your own Trail Camp walking stick to hike the trail. Not to mention our nature SCAVENGER HUNT! Each day will include visits with all our animals as an assistant farm tracker, running and playing in the big pasture, daily take home crafts, and visits to the Fern Valley Farm kitchen for exciting kid friendly creations. Dear Friends, Campers, Staff, and All, Camp season is coming! We’ve secured Toah Nipi in the beautiful woods of Rindge, New Hampshire, for Sunday, July 10 – Sunday, July 17, 2016. Back for her third year, Mrs. Kris Anne Hall, a vigorous young mother will again be teaching about heroic men and women from our countryʼs founding, and the documents of freedom leading up to it. There will be a whole line-up of speakers and teachers, with more to be announced. Other returning instructors or mentors include with Mr. Peik,Mr. Shurtleff, Mr. Hoderny, Mr. “V,” and me. Mr. Peik will again lead Campfires, the Round Robin for Student Input and Q & A, and weʼll even find time for a final exam to help you see your progress! Family Camp is growing! We will again conduct the Junior Patriot Camp Program, making for a truly great family vacation! We welcome families with younger children, or no children, plus grandparents, and others (See worksheet for family accommodations.) We always have a wonderful group of young people and it is so good to see them interacting well with the little ones, with each other, with the grown ups, and even with us ancient ones! Musical Robots - MacRostie Art Center
Art, science, technology and math! Troy Rogers is a composer, instrument builder, and educator whose work often finds itself at various intersections of art and technology. For more than ten years, he has been creating robotic musical instruments and producing music for these novel devices.
