Haven Place Youth Summer Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place Youth Camp (July 31 thru Aug. 7). 7th-12th graders will be staying at Haven Place. Only $30.00 per person 8 days 7 nights. Registreation due by July 2oth. Last year we had 28 attend. Boys will be in tents outside with the adults on watch and the Ladies will be inside with the adult Ladies. They will be mentored by College age students who will be volunteering their time during the mission week. There will be at least four other key adults to chaperone this event. The week will consist of quiet time with the Lord, learning team building skills, sacrificial service to the community and learning to use their God given talents. There will be a praise and worship band, speaker and fun activities planned during the week. Each student will be going to various work sites. Each work site may have different projects, such as light construction, painting, clean up, landscaping, etc....In the afternoons students will be leading a community kids camp which will located at Haven Place. In the evenings students will be engaged in music, a speaker, team activities, and quality interaction with each other. The students will be challenged with a...

Summer Basketball Camp - Grades 2-4 - Olathe Community Center
Here is a great opportunity for boys and girls to learn new basketball skills and improve on existing skills, all while getting a workout. Camp Director, Sean Birdsong, has been around the game of basketball for most of his life. The son of former NBA All-Star, Otis Birdsong, Sean played locally at Bonner Springs High School and collegiately at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO. Sean has also played at the professional level in the CBA, PBL, and NBA D-League workouts. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt. Spring horse camps great for kids to build character and increase their knowledge of horses while having a great time and making friends. Our groups are small in order to provide more one on one teaching. All campers will enjoy learning to tack their horse, riding, grooming, bathing and caring for their horse. We will have daily arts & crafts that they can take home. Campers will also enjoy additional fun activities, and be able spend more time with the horses. All campers will have activities tailored toward their age & experiences. For girls and boys ages 5 - 18 years old. Beginner- Advanced riders welcome. Runs Monday- Friday 8 am - 2pm - Offering early drop off and late pick up for an additional $10 per hour - Limited space we only take up to 10 campers per week - Multiple kid and refer a friend discounts - camp photos included (must sign waiver) - Horse show every Friday (ribbons are given out) parents are welcome to come - will learn about other farm animals & how to care for them Suggested to have and be own helmet that fits properly (will supply if needed)! Join us for an exciting week of camp games, sports, swimming and more! Please bring a sack lunch, snacks, water, swim suit, towel and sunblock to camp daily. Come join the fun! Only need a day or two of camp? We take drop-ins! Drop-ins are dependent on space availability and are $45 per day. There are no sibling discounts for drop-ins.
