Summer Camp-Old Davie -Session 2 (ages 13-18) - Old Davie School
Old Davie School - Session 2 Only (July 18, 2016-August 12, 2016) Advanced levels of study in voice and diction, character analysis, scene study, dialects, styles and methods. Show: Pippin Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, he finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day. Performance: Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. This camp is designed for campers who are: Ages 13 to 18 who are at a moderate level of experience. This camp is offered at Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Old Davie School only. Requirements: *Campers must be between 13 and 18 years of age (13 year-olds must be entering at least 8th grade in the fall). *Campers must fully participate in a 7 hour day, 4 week program. *Campers will have the opportunity to earn community service hours for assisting with younger campers. Sports Camp - Footsteps@Cipriani
Back by popular demand, Footsteps Sports Camp led by Coach Adrian! This is a fun and interactive camp for campers who want to explore different sports and non-competitive games. Our camp promotes cooperation, teamwork, and everyone participating. Campers participate in soccer, flag football, dodge ball, tennis, swimming, and a variety of outdoor games. Friday afternoons the campers swim at local pools and take a weekly sports related field trip. Adrian and his staff of coaches make sure the day is balanced with two healthy snacks and time indoors out of the sun! Strokes to Strategy - Green Valley Resort Tennis Courts
15 hours of tennis instruction in our 3-Day Tennis Camp. Research is what sets us apart from the rest. We will show you Super Slow motion of professional players and fundamentals at the highest level. Through Dartfish split screen analysis we will show you the efficiency of your stroke and how to improve in less time. This program features Dartfish video analysis of the forehands, backhands and serve. Other strokes covered throughout the 3 day program are volleys, return, approach shot, overhead and lob. With more time to practice and drill, the strokes-to-strategy emphasis allows the player to improve at a faster rate. The 3 day camp includes a free Private lesson CD ($75 value), and unlimited use of the tennis facility and ball machines. Saturday Drama Club - Pensacola Little Theatre
This club meets on the second Saturday of each month and covers the fundementals of acting and audition techniques. Students will have the oppurtunity to master the use of their voice and body to create a character. Students will also be able to participate in "mock auditions" ( cold readings, prepared sides, movement, etc. ) to gain more experience for various audition expectations.
