Youth Camp - Leakey, TX
We will be going to Alto Frio camp this summer in Leakey, Texas. Cost is $225 per person. Completed 7th - 12th. Initial non-refundable deposit of $25 is due by March 1, 2015 to ensure your spot. We will be holding our first fundraiser to help offset camp fees on 13th February -- Valentine's Day Banquet...so if you are planning on going to camp, please do your best to work the Banquet. The fundraiser can be used to offset costs for either Alto Frio or Camp Blessing.

Summer Camp - Cloverdale, OR
All Pack Event. Enjoy the wonderful Oregon Coast while working on your rank advancement and our Summertime Pack Award. Exact timing is TBD, but the dates are reserved. I have reserved 30 scout and 10 adults slots. We have time to adjust, but the sooner we get this nailed down the better. I will have a sign up sheet for the next Pack/Den Meeting next Thursday for all those interested in going. There is a fee for this $243/Scout and $115/Adult. We do get a free adult admission for every 6 Scouts that go. At the next Committee Meeting we will discuss how we want to ration that out, either by need, or reduce everyone's cost equally, etc.

Race for the Campers 5K, 10K, and Kid's 1 Mile Adventure Runs - Trout
Get a taste of what Camp Jonah has to offer its campers in these 10k, 5k, and kid’s 1 mile adventure runs; with all proceeds going directly to camp scholarships to help get kids to camp! If you like your races with a little more "fun" than "run" Jonah’s 5k obstacle run is the race for you. Test your limits by wading through mud pits, scaling climbing walls, conquering inflatable obstacles, dodging flying water balloons, and battling many more surprises along the way. Win the race to be crowned camp King or Queen. Be sure to bring your messy clothes/shoes, you may get dirty! For the more serious runners we recommend our 10k scenic run exploring the beauty of Trout Lake. With Mount Adams as your backdrop, this is a race is one you won’t want to miss. Register at http://www.campjonah.com/20th-anniversary-celebration.html $10 Entry Fee for 5k and 10k races. Free Entry for kid’s 1 mile fun run. CentrKid Camp Meeting - Glen Allen, VA
Eric and I will be getting everyone together in the New Fellowship Hall for one last meeting before we go to camp. We will re-visit each camps departure and return times, money that is needed, packing lists, camp commissioning services, rules and expectations etc. If you have not turned in your paperwork or deposits, this will be your last opportunity to do so. If you still need your paperwork notarized, I will take care of that for you at the meeting. All Chaperones, Parents and Campers are welcome. The CentriKid Camp has four openings if your camper would like to invite their friend. Non Hunton Campers will need to pay the full fee for camp of $336. Please let me know by this Sunday's meeting as I will need to drop these 4 slots by May 1st if we are not going to use them. If you have any questions call/text me at 387-7111.

School of Rock - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
The brand new musical - which opened this season on Broadway - follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school and ends up turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. SCHOOL OF ROCK is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who composed 14 songs to create the score, which also features all of the original songs from the movie. Ohlook has been granted a special license to perform this show while it is still performing on Broadway! Come join us and add a Regional Premiere to your resume! Performances: April 15 - May 1 Rehearsal Schedule will be set after auditions. You must audition during our Spring Auditions (Jan. 22, 23, or 24) to be considered for this show.
