Of course, no week of Mountain Kids would be complete without moments of serendipity where we get curious and learn from nature and play. All LA Campus and Teen: Back to School Devotional - Irvine, CA
We are excited to invite the whole Alpha Omega Campus Ministry and the Junior and Seniors from the teen ministry to a Back to School Devotional. Beginning at 5:30pm the Campus Ministries will host a campus fair for the Juniors and Seniors to get information about the campuses in which they are interested. At 6:00pm we will start our devotional. We will have a time of worship, hear testimonies, and listen to the word of God being preached. The fair will continue afterwards. Join us for an inspirational time together.

Day Camp-Week 3 - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
Week Three: June 20-24 Lights! Camera! Sports! Everyone is an MVP at this camp! This week is sure to get you off your feet with awesome sports and games that cant be beat. Your days will be filled with sports new and old, that will all leave you cheering Go Team, Go! Race to the finish line on Friday in your favorite team gear. 901-435-5843
Middle School - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The Princeton University Middle School Girls Ice Hockey Camp is designed for players (entering grades 6-8) whose aspiration is to get better by working on team and individual skills. This camp is both challenging and fun. Ice sessions will focus on the fundamentals of skill development and power-skating. Players will learn proper body position, edge control, and how to lengthen their stride. Puck protection, passing and scoring will be skills taught. In addition, players will learn all aspects of team play. Games will be played at night. In addition, players will workout with the Princeton University Strength and Conditioning Coach. Camp Cordova Imagine That! Camp Cordova hosts a new specialty camp at the White Rock Clubhouse from 8am-5pm that integrates art and science. Divided by age groups (5-7 & 8-11), campers will also enjoy outdoor games, Splash Park time and age appropriate hands-on activities that will challenge critical thinkers and awaken creative minds. During this camp week, we will have daily practice in following a process which should result in several creative writings projects. Each of the students writing projects will be evaluated. A big part of a successful creative writing class is being able to both give and receive constructive criticism; therefore, participation will be encouraged. Phyllis Monroe is a lover of anything related to language arts: words, phrases, clauses, paragraphs, essays, and formal research. Having taught all age groups- elementary, middle, and high school- she knowa that each grade/student will have different writing abilities; however, all age groups should follow basic guidelines for good writing. Creative writing can be the most enjoyable genre because the focus is less on the mechanics of capitalization and punctuation and more on choosing interesting and unique word choices which represent individual writing styles. 9194244028.0
