Waterfalls & Wading - July 24 - Camp Pisgah
Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim 25 yards and tread water non-stop for two minutes in order to participate. 336-274-8491

Camp Willow is all new this summer and includes an enrichment aspect every day! Campers will spend 90 minutes each day learning basic skills for kindergarten readiness including the alphabet, numbers and colors. Willow campers will also experience all the exciting camp games and activities Marinwood offers, everything from Man from Mars to creating Superhero capes! Students who earned D or F grades in either semester of the 2015-2016 school year may be required to remediate those grades in order to move to the next course in the sequence, receive graduation units, and/or remain eligible for college admissions. SJND offers summer remediation on campus through online course providers in a supervised learning environment. Students have the option to work with academic content tutors and receive personalized attention and course management from the Summer Academics Coordinator and staff. For those who need to take a second remediation course, we strongly recommend finishing one before starting the second.
