Little Puffs Sailing Camps is a FUN and safe way to introduce children 5-7 years old to boating and water safety. FUN, safety and boating will be the hallmarks of our Little Puffs Camps. Teen camp is an action packed week with late night recreation, crazy games and relays, horses, archery, tournaments, relaxing in the pool or playing a game of pool in the air conditioned recreation room while making new friends or hanging out with old ones. We're hosting a one of a kind, crazy, never done before benefit for Cadyn Hanson (high school students only). Cadyn is going to be a Sophomore at MCHS. When Cadyn was three he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Unfortunately the cancer has returned. While most of us are taking tests, Cadyn will be fighting for his life- lets show him that he's not fighting alone. Come, bring your love and cash if you have it and help us make it rain for Cadyn. Middler Camp will encourage children going into third and fourth grade to discover what it means to live faithfully for God—the Challenge given by the Apostle Paul in 1 Cor. 9:24. During this four-day camp, music, lessons, crafts, games, swimming, and campfires will keep your child busy building relationships with other kids and most importantly, with Jesus. Children dont have that opportunity any more. They have too many activities and distractions. In the day of technology and organized/competitive sports, children dont get the chance to just play! Sharon Groblicki will once again direct Pentangle Arts Summer Performing Arts Camp, with Nancy Boymer and musical direction by Bob Merrill. The theme this year is Children in Featured Broadway Roles, featuring songs and scenes from The Fantasticks, The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music. This years camp program teaches vocal technique and presentation, drama, improvisational theater, singing, and choreography. Classes are for children ages 8-13. Activities are indoors and outdoors. In addition, there will be some time allocated for swimming at the Woodstock Recreation Center– weather permitting – after lunch most days. Please note, if you child does not have a Rec Center swim pass, they will need $5 each day to cover the cost of using the pool. FOOD: Bring your own snack, lunch and water.
