Munchkin Tennis Camp is designed to introduce campers to the game of tennis. Well focus on basic strokes, developing hand-eye coordination and having fun. Supplies: Campers will need to bring a tennis racket and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. New Jersey's Insurgent Youth join NYCOG Youth Camp - Matawan, NJ
Due to an administrative oversight on the part of Ministerio Bethel Internacional, we have been forced to modify our plans regarding this summer's youth camp. Although we had reserved the dates last September, somehow MBI has given away our reservation to another group. All that being said, we have decided that as opposed to trying to reschedule our own camp at this point, instead New Jersey's Insurgent Youth Camp will join force's with New York's Youth camp which is held at the same facility. However, as opposed to the camp being held July 5-9, it will now take place on August 8-13. The good news is that this change will result in a reduced price for all who attend. The set price for the camp is $225 and as opposed to our previous rate, the price will include an additional day at the campsite. As far as registration goes, all applications should still be sent to New Jersey Youth and Discipleship at 147 Lower Main Street, Matawan, NJ, 07747. Landscapes in Fabric - Bonnie Langenfeld
Learn to turn your favorite photos into artful fabric landscapes. In this class you will create a realistic fabric landscape by choosing appropriate fabrics and making free-motion machine stitches. You will be taught how to make patterns for your picture, learn many artistic points, learn how to stitch picture details, receive a reference booklet and plenty of individual help. After taking this class you will have a completed, or nearly completed fabric landscape! Students must bring their own sewing machine (for the second and third sessions) and have a basic ability to use the free-motion mode. Be sure your machine is in great working condition. No painting is involved, but you will be an artist with just fabric and thread! Lil Sluggers N Kiddie Kickers Camp - Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center
Time for some t-ball and kickball! This camp will combine these two, fun common sports. Kids will learn the similarities of these sports, how both are properly played and learn the basic fundamentals of both. Running the bases, throwing, catching and fielding skills that are similar to both sports will be taught. Boys and girls will also learn the fundamentals that are unique to t-ball and kickball like hitting off of the tee and kicking the ball. Games will be played each day with an emphasis on teamwork and good sportsmanship. Each participant should bring a water bottle. SportsKids Inc. staff will teach the camp.
