Fairy tales do not require fairies… interesting! In this class, students will be examining fairy tales. Where did the term fairy tales come from? When did fairy tales begin? Some fairy tales explored this week include The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk, and The Frog Prince. The original versions will read and discussed. We will take a look at todays childrens literature and how fairy tales have changed through the years… often in funny ways. We will explore different versions of tales from different cultures. Beginners and experienced wrestlers alike will be challenged at this camp. This technique camp will provide instruction on stance, level changing, circling, shooting and sprawling. High school students attending the camp will work on leg riding offense and defense, throws and throw defense, rolls, advance shot defense, scoring from an offensive position, and mental toughness. This camp will run Mondays only. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels.
