Sign up for the Campus Catholic Fall Retreat: Seeing the Face of Christ in the Vulnerable! Come out and spend a weekend in the mountains full of fellowship, fun and of course JESUS!! In this group please post your name, t-shirt size, and if you are able to provide transportation, and if so how many people you can drive. The retreat will be held at Camp Hidden Lake in Dahlonega, GA. Plan on meeting at Sacred Heart at 3:15 so we can get everyone situated in cars, but we plan on leaving at 3:30 from Sacred Heart in order to arrive at Hidden Lake around 6:30. Dinner will be provided Friday night, and all meals up until Sunday breakfast will be provided. The cost of the retreat is $20 for Georgia College students and $40 for non-Georgia College students, but if you are unable to pay just talk to Deacon and we will find a way for you to be able to go. You can give your money to anyone on core! Here is the address for Hidden Lake 830 Hidden Lake Dr. Dahlonega, GA 30533 This weekend is going to be awsome, so you won't want to miss out! Interrogate the science behind the life of a pirate. Consider sediment densities to determine optimal treasure burial, coastal changes to maximize hiding areas, experiment with eye dominance to determine eye patch orientation, design a boat to withstand the high seas, and test biological make-up of items for high Vitamin C levels to prevent scurvy. Craig Ranch Sports Camp Week 1 - Cooper Fitness Center at Craig Ranch
This camp is a joint venture between Cooper Fitness Center at Craig Ranch and the TPC at Craig Ranch. Brad Ott will utilize his 20+ years of golf training experience to teach children ages 7-16 the basics of golf. Fundamental learning will focus on full-swing (wedges, irons, and woods) and short game (putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker play). Campers will then move on to tennis under the guidance of Head Tennis Pro, Andrew Kaikai and his assistant. This class will lead players in drills to help their general strokes. This class is designed to introduce beginners to the game and improve playing ability through drills, activities, and fun games. After lunch, the campers will jump in Coopers Olympic-sized pool under the direction of Head Swim Pro, Patrick Kennedy and Swim Coach, Mike Howes. This class will serve as an introduction to teach your child the fundamentals or swimming through drills, activities, and fun games. Campers will end the day by participating in agility drills and sports/fitness based games led by one of Cooper Fitness Centers Exercise Specialist. 2143831030.0

Learn to BUILD simple machines using gears, levers and pulleys and then MOTORIZE these machines using LEGO and K?NEX educational kits. Our written Engineering curriculum BUILDS MATH and SCIENCE skills with hands on Kinetic learning techniques. Each day we will build new simple machines and conduct experiments to see how well they perform. STEM CURRICULUM. Students will understand why a machine works and will learn how to manipulate a machine to go faster or slower. Fine motor skills, critical thinking skills; imagination and confidence will increase in this fun-filled class.
