Casper Recreation Center was a life saver for my 10 year old daughter. Since my husband and I both have busy careers, we needed something fun for her to do during school breaks. We have 6 Camps $44 per week ($24 Single Day Drop-In) Only 2 weeks (on Tues & Thurs) out of each Summer month. 1st Camp, June - Tues 21st & Thurs 23rd 2nd Camp, June - Tues 28th & Thurs 30th 3rd Camp, July - Tues 19th & Thurs 21st 4th Camnp, July - Tues 26th & Thurs 28th 5th Camp, Aug - Tues 9th & Thurs 11th 6th Camp, Aug - Tues 16th & Thurs 18th Dress Code will be more relaxed but still able to move and dance in, preferably leotard and tights and Ballet shoes with hair out of face...and no clothing with glitter ;) We also ask that Parents drop kids off and pick back up, NO Peeking or Sitting and watching until we present our Showcases on the Thursdays 3:55pm :) We will hold the Camps if we have a minimum of 2 dancers but will cap each day at 10 dancers. C.O.C.’S ART DAYS C.O.C. Offers Camps On 1/2 Days, No School Days & School Breaks for Grades K-12 When school is out, art is in at C.O.C.! Each ‘No School Day’ Camp features different art adventures. Will it be Animating, Collages, Painting, Illustrating, Jewelry Designing, Clay Art & more. You can choose which 3 classes you would love to experience. You & your child can pick which art activities they want to do each day. We have an array of fun, innovative & artistic options. Each child will be able to pick up to three different activities a day. Our goal with the C.O.C. Art Days is to create artistic roots for the children. Art is a very fun, relaxing & engaging activity. C.O.C. bases their art days off of the Victor, NY Public School Calendar. We are adding more Art Days for families attending schools in different districts. All camp days begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. We do have early arrival & late pick up available for parents. *Kids are asked to bring a bagged lunch. -Snacks are provided. SLAM SPORTS AND LEADERSHIP CAMP - Memphis University School
SLAM Sports and Leadership Camp offers students a chance to enjoy competitive play while participating in leadership training. This camp is for students who want an overall physical fitness and multisports camp experience. Each afternoon is divided into three periods, including fitness training and various sports and games. After being taught the rules and basic skills of each game, counselors and supervisors will move out of the spotlight to allow campers to choose and organize their own games. This process gives students a chance to take ownership of their own play and make the decisions necessary for a successful game. Camp instructors will supervise all activities, but campers will be required to resolve conflicts, referee their own games, and motivate one another to engage robustly in each activity. This is not a sport-specific program. Students will be grouped according to age and ability. They may sign up for more than one session. Cost includes camp T-shirt. 901-260-1300
YDL Soccer Girls (5th & 6th ) 2015-2016 - VENUE LOCATION
Join us as our Wildcat Soccer is changing to YDL versus CASA this year! Open to all 5th and 6th grade girls. We will form an all girls team if we have enough registered girls. If there are not enough girls to form a girls only team we will then have a coed team(s). Practices will be held on the Japonica athletic field beginning Feb 1st. Games will be played on Saturdays. This will be a 6 week session: Game dates are set for: 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, Mon 3/21 OR Tues 3/22. Player registration includes officials costs, new jersey, and a Page Mate photo. Player is responsible for black soccer shorts (per coach discretion), socks/shin guards, and soccer cleats. Growing Scientists: Animal Adventures Why are some animals furry and others feathered? How does a snail move? What does an owl eat? Have an up close and personal encounter with some of the animals at CuriOdyssey and learn about their amazing adaptations such as how they eat, where they sleep, and where to find them in nature. Go on an adventure to find tiny creatures living around Coyote Point Recreation Area. The world of animals will be revealed in this wild and wooly, slippery and scaly camp! Growing Scientists must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2016, potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently.
