The Futsal Kingz camp is a great way to help your child improve their technical ball skills and level of play. Players will learn new skills & tricks every day from our professional coaching staff and have a great experience, whether theyre the next Ronaldo or trying Futsal for the first time! Summer 5 Days of Knight Camp for Kids - Battle of Agincourt - Portland
Kids day camp for the week of Aug 22nd through Aug. 26th Ages 7 through 12 - or first grade and up. Camp runs Monday through Thursday- 9:30am to 3:30pm Children should pack a lunch or bring money to buy food at the Subway in our parking lot. Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see below. Camp must be pre-registered. There are no refunds however arrangements can be made to transfer registration to a different child. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the crusades and beyond to the 16th century. We teach history and real world skills related to the time and culture of Knighthood. This this course we will focus on the Battle of Agincourt.... a decisive time in history. The invasion took a muster of troops... a ship voyage... and then an overland campaign. This past year saw the Anniversary celebration of the Battle at European battle sites and museums. In addition... The AKA All Sports Camp experience is unique in its inclusion of a variety of ice sports. This year AKA is proud to announce another summer featuring the AKA Ice Sports Week - Broomball, Curling, Skating and Hockey (Week 5). Thanks to the help of the USA Broomball Association kids will receive professional instruction and understanding of the sport of Broomball. ***Equipment is necessary - all kids must wear a helmet (hockey, football, bike, etc.) to be on the ice. Featured Fieldtrip - Zero Gravity Indoor Trampoline Park FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. This cooking camp is a fun and exciting way to spend summer. There will be two sessions: Session 1- June 22nd - July 3rd and Session 2 - July 6th - July 17th. Cooking Camp will be held at The Silver Spring International Middle School on Wayne Avenue from Monday through Friday, 9.30am - 1.30 pm. All students from grades 4-9 are welcome to register and enjoy this memorable experience. In these 2 week sessions, students will get started with the basics of cooking and gradually increase to more advanced skills. A JBRC Camp Staff must be a mature Christian, pleasant toward campers, counselors, and fellow workers. Must be willing to work hard and go the extra mile and must have a servants heart! Ten-Week Staff will begin on May 17, 2015 unless you are applying for a wrangler position. Our Horse Program Director will contact wranglers about when they will arrive. All Ten-Week Staff will be remaining at camp until July 24, 2015 as of January 8, 2015. This could possibly change to July 31 if we book an additional group. 225-634-7225
