Camp Discovery - Week 9 - Butterfield Park District
Learn the ins and outs of camp through exploring with a half day. Camp Discovery is a great way to introduce your child to the camp experience. The camp will be combined with the K-2 camp located at the Butterfield Park District. Children will experience a wide variety of nature, crafts, sports, and games. This camp is designed as a 4 day program. There will be no attendance on Wednesdays due to field trips with K-2 Camp. INSTRUCTOR Kristyn Cochrane

Woodlands Bridge Group - WUMC Room
The PLAY group is for 4- 7 year old children needing social interaction. Come work on sensory exploration and floor play with a specialist in learning differences. Kids will enjoy interacting with one another, music, and game activities. This class is designed for young children who are newly diagnosed, introverted, or simply needing to practice basic interactive social skills to foster appropriate play. 713-461-7200

Camp Seaside - Week #8 - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Camp Seaside is a summer day camp based at the Mast Landing School on Bow Street in Freeport. Our day camp is designed to spark your childs imagination, grow new friendships and create a memorable summertime experience for all. Some of our time will be spent, weather permitting, at Winslow Park on beautiful Casco Bay. Each week will also consist of a highlight trip and a trip to a local state park or beach. Daily activities will include arts, crafts, sports and games. Campers are divided into age appropriate groups for most activities and trips, but participate in whole camp events as well. We are once again teaming up with Freeport Community Services and the USDA Federally Funded Summer Lunch Program. Each lunch contains the federally required percentage of protein, fruit, vegetables & grain and all lunches include milk. Weekly menus will be posted on our website by late June. March 25: Spring Break Science - Summit Schools
Join Summit Schools staff and our community partners for a day on of fun, interactive activities at Learning Extensions Camp, also known as In-Service Day Camp. -Theme: Spring Break Science. Well explore, create, experiment, discover, and engineer all in the name of science! -Experiment with soil science and composting methods as the C.R. Solid Waste Agency teaches us about landfill engineering. -With the Cedar Rapids Water Department, well test water quality, PH levels, and more as we learn about the science of water. -Summits own art teacher, Miss Carol, will have us discovering the science of art through messy and fun art experiments. -Alpaca Fiber Arts will teach us all about alpacas and llamas as we create felted take-home soap and/or coasters.
