HELP A KID GO TO CAMP KESEM - Davis, CA
I cannot believe that I am a part of such an amazing organization that does so much good for kids struggling through so much adversity. Being in an organization like Camp Kesem has opened my eyes to how generous and kind people can be. Camp Kesem is an organization run by students who spend a ton of time all year fundraising money to allow children whose parents have or had cancer go to a fun, stress-free summer camp. Although this is my first year as a part of this wonderful organization, I already feel so strongly connected to all the counselors and want to do as much as I can to allow these kids to go to camp. Hearing all of these stories about how the kids tell such heart-warming stories, I feel like I would learn more from them than they would from me. It gets me even more excited to learn about all the various events we get to set up and how much fun everyone has every year that they go. Splash Down Camp - Camp Nawakwa
The perfect break from those long hot August days, come join us for Splash Down Camp! Nearly all activities have a water based theme, spend your afternoons cooling off in the pool or take the opportunity to cruise around the lake or just simply sit off the dock with a fishing pole enjoying the friendship of fellow campers, while swapping fish stories. Our evening activities will also be water based such as the water balloon games. Soccer Shots: PREMIER (5 - 8yrs.) - Coaches Field
PREMIER: 5 - 8 years Soccer Shot Premier is for children who wish to build upon what their current skills. Focusing on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, each session provides an opportunity for kids to be challenged through fun games and team competitions. Children will also be introduced to tactical elements of the game as they prepare to play on competitive teams. Children should arrive dressed in comfortable clothing, shin guards and cleats. AMP Camp Session 5 - SCDS
Would your children benefit from an early introduction to the upcoming middle school curriculum? Then the Amp Camp is just what they need. The Amp Camp, led by SCDS Middle School Learning Specialist, Mr. Benjamin Ford, will help set your child up for success. During Amp Camp 6th, 7th, and 8th grade campers will learn how to implement specialized study strategies to help them be more confident and better prepared for middle school. Each student will gain insight on how to be more organized and thoughtful about their study habits while also getting a jump start on the best way to engage challenging concepts and content. Amp Camp is a great way to help students prepare for their re-entry to school. Amp Camp is open to SCDS and non-SCDS students.
