Meet Dean-O: Dean-o is known for his energy and tenacity in reaching kids with the gospel, never forgetting he was a teen before hearing the good news of Jesus. It began in 1997 and has spread across the U.S. with over 1,700 performances in 40 states and a dove award nomination for children's album of the year. During these events and performances, over 10,000 children made first-time decisions to give their lives to Christ at concerts, camps, chapels, VBS weeks and large crusades. Horse Camp is for children ages 7 – 14 (by first day of camp session). This camp is the ideal setting to learn and discover all things horses! After discovering which horse they will be partnered with, campers are assigned to a lesson group based on their incoming skill set. Horsemanship is emphasized by allowing campers to saddle their own horse, help care for their horse and learn all about horse health. Riders will be taught safety, comfort in the saddle and control of the horse. More experienced riders will be challenged through the week with pre-jumping skills, some gymnastic exercises and leg yielding. Each day, each group will have the opportunity to ride in the morning for approximately 30-45 minutes after spending time grooming and tacking up horses. When not participating in a riding lesson, they will learn about barn management and all things horse! In addition to riding and working with the horses, campers will have the opportunity to do archery, kayaking, hiking, field games, crafts and get wet with water games. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory... 301-373-9775

Summer Camp Girls Empowerment - Skyliner Lodge
There is a potent seed within all of us that receives nourishment when we consciously gather together. The nourishment comes from celebrating the divinity within each pair of eyes that we behold as they reflect our own spirit back to us. This seed eventually matures into the unique way that we embody and radiate beauty during our earth walk. In this transformational week, we will incorporate the sacred elements of nature, mindfulness, and ceremony to provide an opportunity for inner blossoming. We will be accessing the ancient wisdom of our ancestral grandmothers, making plant medicines, dying fabrics, and weaving with natural fibers. We will be accessing the deep and profound stillness that allows us to be fully present and fully ourselves. We will be celebrating life through creating earth art and body paints. All the while, the girls will be inspired by one another in a safe and supportive group setting. Journey with us into the wilderness as we discover what it means to be an empowered young woman. 503-680-9831
