This week we will explore some ways we can help protect our planet. Campers will work together to brainstorm and create an earth-friendly product. At the end of the week, they will present their product to the rest of the camp and parents, demonstrating how everyone can think of ways to make our planet a better place. Whether youre a seasoned pro or new to the stage, if you love to sing, dance or act, this class is for you! Students will get a chance to hone their singing, dancing and acting abilities. Through the study of musical theatre, vocal/movement/acting technique, and a variety of fun games and activities, we will work our way through the process of putting on a show. In addition to improving performance skills, students will gain self-confidence and enhance their public speaking abilities. If youre looking to ace that audition or just have some fun, by the end of the summer everyone will be a triple threat 8475043400 x2520
Wave Runners Day Camp- Session 1 (4th-8th Graders) - Environmental Studies Center
Campers will have lots of fun while learning to care for their environment. Outdoor activities and environmental learning are the focus of this camp. New this year! Snack bar open each morning and ice cream day on Tuesdays. All selections $1.00. Activities include: *A boat trip on the Indian River Lagoon *Seining *Setting up and maintaining aquaria *Area beach and park visits *Fishing *Cast netting *Various water activities *Snorkeling *Arts & Crafts *Games & relay races *Special Friday activities All teachers are state certified and camper/teacher ratio is 20/1. In addition, high school counselors assist teachers with supervision. All water activities are closely monitored. One week minimum, $180.00 per week.
