Chorus Camp $185.00 Rising 5th-8th June 27-July 1 8:30am-2:00pm Campers will learn the basics of a choral rehearsal and perform in a choral concert at the end of the week. They will sing a variety of music from many genres including pop, theatre, classical, and even a song in a different language. Campers will also have the option of taking a private voice lesson throughout the week to perform a solo song for their fellow campers. 2016 Summer Camp (Session 1) - CrossRoads Christian School
This camp is designed to support specific improvements of both individual fundamentals and overall team play. We will focus on both offensive and defensive concepts and strategies. Points of Emphasis include: Ball Handling, Passing, Shooting, Rebounding, Footwork & Body Balance. We will also incorporate drills that develop rebounding skills and transition concepts. Pathfinders will engage their adventurous spirits as they learn outdoor skills and exciting ways to thrive in nature. Campers will immerse themselves in the natural world as they discover shelter building, map-making, plant identification and animal tracking. With their own survival kit in hand, every camper will be eager to share their new knowledge of and appreciation for the outdoors. AM Expressive Screenprinting 7/5 (ages 9+) - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Turn your words, drawings and images into posters and T-shirts and discover the vast potential for future designs in this hands-on screen printing class. Using stencils, water-based inks and multiple screens, students will construct bold, graphic images. Basic design/composition, stencil cutting and multiple-color registration will be explored as students master basic screen printing processes. 970.728.3886
Girl Scout Sunday: Toy Hack - The Mini Maker
Patch Included During our Toy Hack sessions your kids are given a selection of old toys, such as, a GI Joe, Barbie Doll, Legos, Dinosaur figures, ect. Your kids use basic tools like a screw driver to "hack" the toys apart. Then with the use of tape, pipe cleaners, or glue gun the kids are able to reuse and recycle the pieces and create a new toy with them. For example: A Barbie Doll body with a T-Rex Head and Zombie Foot. During this session the kids are also asked to use their imaginations to create a story around the figure they have created.
