Teen Camp - Moreno Valley, CA
July 31 - August 6, 2016 (Sunday - Saturday) COST: $265 per camper Registration: Sunday at 3:00pm Come join the fun at Teen Camp as we discover how we can be "Relentless" in our walk with Christ and stand for Him even when it means standing alone. Teen camp is an action packed week with late night recreation, crazy games and relays, horses, archery, tournaments, relaxing in the pool or playing a game of pool in the air conditioned recreation room while making new friends or hanging out with old ones. Last year this week almost sold out, so register early! Teen Camp is open to students entering grades 7 thru 2016 Graduates. There will be a separate program for Jr. High and High School. The $50 non-refundable deposit is due by July 1, 2016 to secure a place for your child. Also, to receive a $10 discount please mail in the remaining balance due or the complete amount due by July 1st, 2016. BOSS CAMP: The Wizard of Oz - This 2 week, full day camp will be an amazing opportunity for your performer to participate in a full childrens theater production from start to finish. We will have a limited number of spots available. The first day of camp will be your audition and parts will be assigned at the beginning of the 2nd day of camp. THE WIZARD OF OZ is the story of young Dorothys adventure over the rainbow where she meets new friends like the scarecrow, the tin-man, the lion, and Glinda but where she also encounters an enemy, the wicked witch of the West. Afternoon: Robots on the Rampage Join us on an adventure that requires creative thought, time management and team communication as groups build a diverse range of off-road vehicles that battle other robots, race against the clock and play tug of war! This class will discuss drive and follower gears and the various ranges of gear ratios. Can a fast vehicle out perform a robot with lots of power? Here is your chance to learn which gear ratios are associated with speed or torque. Chaos and Havoc rule the day in this ruckus of Robots on the Rampage. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Players will learn both individual skills and team concepts, starting with passing, catching and ground balls and advancing to shooting, dodging, and team concepts like defensive slides and offensive play.
