Teen Media Camp Video Premiere - Fairbanks, AK
Fairbanks area youth wrote the script, acted, provided production support for a suicide prevention video to be used on social media with funding from The Alaska Community Foundation Teen Suicide Prevention Grant and matching grant from FNSB Health and Social Services Commission. Kid's Summer Clay Camp - San Pedro, CA
CLAY CAMP - 3 days Monday, June 20th, Tuesday June 21st and Monday June 27th, 2016 8:30am - 12:30pm at Seaside Studios San Pedro Projects will include making fairy/troll habitats for the garden! The first 2 days in camp we will be forming our projects utilizing basic hand building techniques such as coil, slab and pinch pot techniques. The 3rd day (Monday of the following week) will be for glazing the piece with the goal of having a finished fired piece by end of the mixed arts camp July 1st. Kid's clay camp is recommended for kids between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age. Clay camp is $85 per child per session. It is highly recomended to do both clay and mixed arts camps if possible as they tie in nicely together. Camp Jam Summer Camp - Atlanta, GA
Jammin Kids Inc. presents "Camp Jam," an all encompassing camp that gives your child hands on experience in many genres such as acting, dance, science, fitness, career exploration entrepreneurship, and more. Camp Jam is open to all children ages 5-13 (4 year olds are welcome if potty trained or turning 5 during the summer). Tuition is $70 per week (includes snacks). Parents, looking for a place to send the older kids? Camp Jam is extending an awesome invitation for volunteers ages 14-18 to help out with daily rountines for the younger campers. Volunteers also gain experience teaching classes and building life long confidence and leadership skills. Volunteers receive free weekly tuition but must make a commitment to attend camp daily. Art You Smart-To Go (Private Classes) - Wichita Collegiate School
This class is for coming 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade artists. Let me enrich your childs summer with a 6 week study of art. Sign up for a private hour of art in which I will come to your home and work with your child. The hour will include: working with the Elements and Principles of Design, experimenting with various media and techniques and learning to mount and display finished pieces, and connecting to art history. If there are siblings that are in the required grade levels, it will be an additional $63 for each additional artist. This fee includes all supplies.
