The Best of Broadway - Broadway Belters Camp ( Grades 4 - 6)By popular demand, this musical theater camp has been added for kids who love to sing, or have always wanted to try! Similar in format to our Peter Pan, Disney Dazzle and Wiz Kids camps, students will not even realize that they are being taught lessons in singing, dancing and acting because they will be having so much fun! A final performance of songs and dances from Broadway hits will be shared on the last day of camp. It's a great way for both Heritage learners and non-heritage learners to expand their knowledge of specific ethnic group from various parts of the African continent. Our goal is to foster a cultural connection to the chosen African ethnic group and enhance cultural awareness, appreciation and heritage esteem in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All classes are taught by native speakers of the respective ethnic group. Culture camp is designed for children 6 year to 14 years and is held once a month from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays. We will have planned crafts, as well as music and discussion times. Please bring a sack lunch. We will have snacks and water. Pre-register at ticket link on this event.
