Science on the Rocks: Summer Camp - Charlotte, NC
This isn't the Summer Camp you grew up with. Must be 21 or older. Photo ID required for entry. Play like a kid and party like an adult as Science on the Rocks takes you back to camp with tent races, Nerf archery, spooky stories, friendship bracelets, liquid nitrogen marshmallows and much more! Hip Hop: Breaking the Rules 101 - The Evergreen School
What is it like to break the rules...on purpose?! Hip hop has a reputation for rule breaking in dance throughout its history. After all, hip hop was originally used as a peaceful way of creating change in a violent time through inter-city territory wars. In this class, students will learn about the history of hip hop, and how early hip hop created a movement in society towards positive change as we create our own dance of positive change! Tennis Champions Camp will mix areas such as stroke technique, shot selection, and court awareness with actual play. Players will receive focused instruction in various areas of tennis, allowing them to develop and improve their overall tennis game. Skate Art Camp (PM) - Community Activities Building
Grades 3-8 Afternoon 1-4pm (Skate Art Lessons) Students will refurbish used skateboards (prepare surface for painting) and paint (spray paint and acrylic) artwork inspired by skate art.
