Teen Sewing Boot Camp - Edmonds, WA
Is your teen bored already? Sign him/her up for our week long beginning sewing boot camp running Monday through Friday, July 19 through 22 from 10 am to 2 pm daily. They will learn basic hand sewing techniques by hand making their own pin cushion and then graduate to sewing a pillowcase, pajama pants a skirt and other cool stuff., including getting to participate in a community project. You will need to bring your own sewing machine if you have one, and basic sewing supplies. A list of fabrics and notions will be sent to you once you have registered. Cost is $100. Returning to Teen Camp - undefined, CA
In the summer of 2014, I did something I never really thought I was called to do: work with TEENS. Being 21 at the time, I still considered myself one. Me? Being paired up with a 14-year old girl? Confronting normal teen issues paired with the difficulty that comes hand in hand while being in the foster system? Definitely a challenge. Not just zip-ling fun and games. (Also, I came home with crutches that year. FROM TRIPPING IN THE CAFETERIA. Hangry?) However, seeing how camp is something these kids/teens look forward to every year and how a weekend in the woods reminds them they are loved and adored is invaluable. Being with older and wiser counselors also inspired me because seeing the way they love unconditionally inspires me to not be selfish with my time and personal ambitions. These kids, this camp. It means something. A safe place with the ability to change lives long term. I'm proud to say that I'm returning to Teen Camp this year and it would be amazing to share the stories from last time with you (when I get a blog post up.) Aggie Golf Camp Session 1 - Aggie Golf Learning Center
Designed to improve and educate junior golfers. The Aggie Golf Camp is the premier junior golf instructional camp in the nation, for beginners and advanced campers. All instruction takes place at the Jack Nicklaus/Jack Nicklaus II designed Traditions Golf Club and the 42,000 sq. foot Wahlberg Aggie Golf learning Center. We have a recently completed one of the countries most complete game development outdoor practice facilities. This 10-acre facility includes 7 Champions Bermuda greens, 15 Bunker complexes, 3 water features, dedicated wedge area, and several well-placed teeing areas for a variety of shots. Campers will have daily group instruction covering all aspects of the game. They will also play 9 holes every day with instruction and supervision at Traditions Golf Club. The final day of camp will be a true test of the abilities learned during the week. Students will participate in a competition on the Traditions Club golf course with trophies awarded to the top finishers.
