Students will have an amazing week learning, creating, and consuming! During the week long experience, campers will not only make something edible everyday - breads, pretzels, cookies - they learn how people around the world meet their nutritional needs, and how food is produced from farm to table, and look at the history of breads. Campers will come home with a book of nutritious recipes and an increased interest in the kitchen! Maine District Youth Camp! - Old Town, ME
It's that time of year again! Time for our most awesome event of the year...Youth Camp!!! This year youth camp will be held beginning Monday, July 18 and will end with a camp BBQ on Friday, July 22nd. ****REGISTRATION**** Registration is $85 before July 1st. After July 1st, registration will be $100. Your registration fee covers meals and activities, please bring extra money for the canteen! **** We are excited to have Bro. Tony Bohrer, the Colorado District Youth President with us this year! He will be speaking in all of our evening services as well as our Friday morning dismissal service. ABOUT: Our featured speaker for this weekend will be Greg Gunter, Youth Pastor at Covenant Baptist Church in Romney, WV. Greg has a heart for young people and making sure they understand the Word of God in a practical way. This weekend, our theme is FOUNDATIONAL. All buildings are built upon a foundation. The foundation determines how well the structure will stand. You'll be challenged this weekend to look at what your life is built upon and what is the real foundation in your life. RETREAT COSTS: Register for the retreat on or before October 14 and the price is $59.00. The price for the retreat increases to $64.00 on registrations that come in after October 14. Kid's Sewing Camp - undefined, PA
Sewing Camp is offered to children ages 6-14. This year we will be working on a number of machine projects as well as some hand sewing. There is no experience necessary. I'm very excited about the projects we have selected. I think the children will absolutely love what they accomplish during this week of camp! And they will learn a lot! Sing! - Palace Education and Performance Center
Working with well known movie and Broadway songs, children will learn the fundamentals of singing. Each class will explore warming up and vocal technique with age appropriate tunes and vocal games. Children will also learn musical theatre performance techniques which will culminate in numbers performed for family and friends at the end of the year performance. Songs will be chosen from the classic Disney songbook through newer Broadway favorites. Past performance pieces have included such favorites as "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" from Frozen, "Evrybody Wants to Be a Cat" from Disneys The Artistocats and "Choose Me" from The Castaways.
