My son is going to be a senior this upcoming year and this past summer, he wanted to go to ASM Materials, Metallurgy, and Forensics Engineering Institute in Rapid City, SD. We reluctantly sent him, but were amazed at all the wonderful things he learned and did while he was there. He had hands-on learning in an educational environment about materials, metals, building and engineering. It was as if he has gone away for a semester of college. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Stories and songs such as "Bye Bye Binky," " No More Diapers," and "No More Monsters," will be shared to make transitioning for parent and child a fun experience.

On Friday, April 29th, 2016, Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 will be hosting their annual Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction. The event will take place at the Lewiston Community Center (1424 Main Street - Lewiston, ID) from 6pm-9pm. The cost is $5/person, or $20 for a family of 5. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. Royal Family KIDS Camp is a non-profit week-long summer camp for foster children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, etc. All of the proceeds from this event go directly to the children we support. Camp Kaleidoscope - Field Trip Camp Session 2 - Veterans Memorial - Recreation Center
Camp will offer youth, ages 6-10 years old, a wide range of activities to keep them active during the summer months. There will be ten sessions of camp, each one week in length. Five sessions will have a featured field trip and five sessions will have a special event or a wild life animal presentation. All costs, including transportation by charter bus for the featured trip, are included in the cost of the camp program. Children will also enjoy activities such as arts & crafts, outdoor games, indoor games, music & drama, special events, cooking projects, bowling, movies, swimming, hiking, and much more. A schedule will be given out the first day of each session. Children will be divided into age groups. Each group will be assigned a leader and a junior leader or leader in training.
