This camp helped my teenage daughter understand the importance of volunteering in the community. Girl Scout camp helps develop positive social skills in young women. District Youth Fall Retreat - Mount Morris, IL
Save the date - We will be staying at the retreat lodge (and log cabin if needed) for our fall retreat. Fellowship with other youth in the district, interesting sessions, and an opportunity to help the camp out by raking leaves at the district wide leaf raking service project (Saturday starting at 8 am). Cost $40 - no charge for Advisor. Please contact Ralph Miner if cost is an issue.
Youth Guys Camping Trip - Nashville, IN
We are going to be taking the guys of the youth group on a camping trip to Yellow Wood State Forest campground. If there is a Dad(s) that is wishing to attend please talk to Jason and Josh Brown as soon as possible. We plan to leave the Church at 4:00 PM on May 13th, so please plan to be at the Church at 3:30 PM if possible. The cost for this event is $20/Person which takes care of your food and campsite fees. This event is open to both high school, and middle school guys and the deadline for money and paperwork will be May 1st at 8 PM. We will also be sending out a packing list a little bit later on. You can sign-up either on Facebook or on the sign-up sheet on Sunday night.

Lights...Camera...Action! Students dream of having their favorite LEGO® characters come to life become a reality in our movie making class. Using stop-motion animation and digital post- production editing, students produce LEGO® Brickfilms much like the ones viewed on YouTube. Students learn about developing creative storytelling techniques, incorporating visual and audio special effects. This is a great class to take with friends. Girls will learn how to shoot, dribble, pass, and move without the ball using easy to understand and age appropriate drills. Players will also learn the rules of basketball. Music Theater Camp - Ohlook Performing Arts Center
Our most popular camp every summer! We provide a comprehensive program of intensive classes in a wide variety of theater performing arts, each taught by a working professional in that field. Students train for 3 weeks, five days a week, in the 3 disciplines of musical theater - dance, music, and acting in addition to rehearsing a full musical which will culminate in one of our main stage productions. Developing the ability to sustain concentration throughout the process is one of the most important skills that students take away from the program. Along with the daily basic skills work, students will learn and grow attending separate workshops such as audition preparation, bringing songs to life, how to conquer your nerves and life in the business from professionals that are IN the business! This camp is for the serious singing actor. You will work with professionals from the local DFW stages as well as Broadway and Opera! Camp culminates in full productions of a show to be named soon (June 24-26 and July 1-3) for our older students and Junie B. Jones (June 27 – July 2) for our younger students. 817-421-2825
