Mondays, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28 and Wednesdays 3/16, 3/23 and 3/30 In this class, the student will be introduced to the craniosacral system of the human body, comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The emphasis in Craniosacral Therapy is to help resolve the trapped forces that underlie and govern patterns of disease in both body and mind. This involves the practitioner "listening through the hands" to the bodys subtle craniosacral rhythms to detect patterns of inertia or congestion. Join us for an exciting day exploring archaeological mysteries of various ancient cultures. Students will learn about the construction of a pyramid and create a three- dimensional, textural model of this ancient wonder. They will create personal cylinder seals by carving ancient symbols into a rolled cylinder and then imprint this image into slabs of clay. We will also design relief replicas of a series of ancient Geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert in Peru known as Nazca Lines. Choice games, indoor and outdoor activities and a mid-morning snack of a delicious Turkish food will be provided. Please have your child bring a lunch including a beverage. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch. Students are required to wear a red t-shirt on all trips.
