The Wallis is pleased to offer an opportunity for youth ages 12-18 to become a Student Arts Reporter. This program is designed for students interested in the arts and journalism or critical writing. The Wallis is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and other local media partners to help mentor students to view productions with a critical eye and write reviews for selected Wallis performances throughout the season. Oasis Summer Camp in the Mountains: ADOPTED - Gatlinburg, TN
Oasis in the Mountains: ADOPTED Students (Grades 7-12) are invited to join us for our annual Summer Camp from Jully 22-25. Registration is open and you can register at www.mbcpetal.com Camp will be held at Wafloy Retreat Center in the mountains of Tennessee. Our speaker this year will be Kevin Cooper and music will be led by the Christ Layton Band. Cost is $275 which includes a deposit of $75 to reserve your spot. TEEN RETREAT at Camp Timpoochee - designed for teens, by teens... This year's RETREAT will be held February 24th-26th and will include activities such as: team building, resume writing, interviews, the art of sports fishing, shooting sports, outdoor cooking, arts/crafts and dance/drama. Our teenagers will participate in a 4-H service project “Chemo Kits” for local individuals suffering from cancer. They will also learn how to apply for 4H scholarships and so much more.

Frog Guts: Adventures in Biology - Penn State Erie, The Behrend College
Adventures in Biology is a five day journey with discovery hands-on labs including frog anatomy and dissection, owl pellet exploration and earthworm anatomy and dissection. Participants will explore fascinating concepts in biology such as homeostasis (how organisms react with their environment to maintain life); photosynthesis (turning sunlight into energy); cellular respiration; and the properties of water, water quality and its importance to supporting and sustaining life. 814-898-6871

Camp Catapult Thursday - Newtons Attic
Siege Alert! Look out, its time for ying tennis balls, eggs and bags of Jell-O as this camp offers participants the opportunity to design and build a table top size catapult or trebuchet. Students start with a kit of wood, steel, aluminum and plastic parts and create their catapult. When students nish theirinventions, they eld test them in a fun and exciting activity. This is a single, full day version of Camp Catapult. It should be registered for once during Spring Break unless the student would like to make a second, different catapult on Tuesday. Other single day classes include Rube Goldberg Machines (9 and older) and Da Vinci Kids (6 to 9). 859-368-7334

Football Camp 6th - 8th - SCDS
The goal of the Hornet Football Camp is to give campers the finest football instruction and a stepping stone to becoming a confident football player, while having a week of fun! This is notaconditioning or recreational camp. This camp is designed to teach the football techniques used at the high school level and to help prepare the players for their upcoming SPAL season. The Savannah Country Day high school football coaches will be the camp instructors along with former Hornet players and some current college football players. Campers will be taught the fundamental skills for their specific position on both sides of the ball as well as compete in group drills to help prepare them for another championship season of SPAL football.
