Youth Horse Camp - Ironton, OH
3 days 2 nights of horse chaos. 25 kids from ages 5-19, we do everything from the ground up. They will go over tack and functions, safety, ground manners, basic riding to advanced depending on skill levels. Students will be asked to step outside their comfort zone and try other disciplines. There will be games, and the occasional water fight. We camp in tents, cook out, and just have a good time. 100 per camper.
Kid's Camp edition - Lake Hopatcong, NJ
Kid's Clinic offered every other week on Wednesdays in the summer months for Kid's (riders 18 and younger) to learn how to wakeboard or wakesurf with Lake Hopatcong Marine. ALL LEVELS of riders encouraged to join, beginners or expert. LHM provide's top notch instruction from LHMwakeshop team rider, Shaina Kassaleh, and instructions from LHM's in house Wake lesson school, Wake Dreams. All of this, plus water & snacks. Eco-Kids: Aquatic Adventures Mini-Camp PM - Blue Jay Point County Park
Description: Frogs and newts and water bugs, oh my! Meet many kinds of aquatic critters as we explore Blue Jay Point?s pond, streams, and shores of Falls Lake. We?ll also spend time learning about all things aquatic through crafts, stories, snacks, and more! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eco-Kids is a three-day mini-camp at Blue Jay Point County Park for children ages 4-5 years old ready for independent learning. This camp is for the younger LEGO fan that is just getting into LEGO. JRS will learn basic building techniques, play building oriented games, and create from their own imagination. Projects like building racecars, animals, mosaics are few of the things the children will work on. Action LEGOs puts fun in motion as students learn how to use gears, motors, potential energy and balance to create numerous contraptions. Through the excitement of building, our summer camp students understand how gears translate motion and how different types of energy can propel vehicles and machines. After each building project, summer camp kids customize, share, and enjoy playing with their creations. Kids have many opportunities free building, playing Lego games creating their own amazing projects. We are focused on active learning because the development of the brain is so important in the early years and research proves that children learn by doing. We have a unique ability to excite and motivate kids to grasp programming and engineering concepts, yet we also place equal emphasis on celebrating STEM education and creativity.
