NSC - Week 11 - OLYMPIC GAMES Closing Ceremonies Week - Blaine - National Sports Center
AKA OLYMPIC GAMES and Closing Ceremonies Week will be an extremely active week to start winding the summer down. This week will include a variety of year end favorite sports and games as well as our Closing Ceremony themed awards and presentations. Featured Field Trip - Twins Game vs. Detroit Tigers at Target Field, Thursday August 25 FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Tiger - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The Princeton Tiger Camp is a teaching camp covering all facets of the game. Our goals are to improve your skills, teach cutting edge techniques and advance your understanding of game concepts and team play. Campers are grouped according to age and ability levels with a great staff who keep the game fun and who are committed to helping each camper reach a new level of play. Ages: 6 -12 years Instructor: Peg Weis Monday - Friday, 3:00pm -6:00pm, see dates below Location: Sherwood Center Campers explore projects of their own design with LEGO cars, animals, and castle pieces, specialty accessories and mini-figures. Small groups rotate through separate theme of the day build including Star Wars, Ninjago, MINECRAFT, Harry Potter, Castle Fortress or Pirate. Little Bot Programmer! - United Faith Christian Academy
Yes, 5 year olds can learn to code and program computers all in the excitement of play! Programming is thought to be the next language that all children need to learn and we make it fun! Using simple coding games with animation and stories, as well as Dot and Dash robots, young children learn to program these bots with light, sound, sensors, and movement, understand the basics of coding, and are introduced to the world of computer science fundamentals. Your child will take home a small robot they construct. Warning! Be prepared, your child will not want to leave camp at the end of each day!
