May 10,17,24,31, June 7, 14 (Ages 6-10) Rockland Ice Arena Our spring skills sessions will focus on improving the fundamental skills that make a complete hockey player. Our certified staff and Pro Hockey instructors will teach skating stride, edges, puck handling, shooting, passing proficiency and overall hockey competency. Our approach for teaching these skills will be challenging yet fun. Players will be introduced to fresh drills and techniques that will make them better all-around players There will be a special emphasis on skating Skating is the foundation of our game and we have put together an opportunity that puts 100% focus on all aspects of skating. Full Day 36Camp: Spring Break Programming & Technology Camp - NextGen Tech Learning
Full Day Camp - 9:00AM to 5:00PM This is a full day camp and will include following three sessions: 1. Introduction to Programming, Web Programming & JavaScript : 9:00am-12:00pm 2. 3D Printing and Digital Designing : 1:00pm-4:00m 3. Game Design using Minecraft Redstone : 4:00pm -5pm In the morning session, students will learn to make web pages and will make a mini website. They will learn programming fundamentals while learning JavaScript. Students will apply their JavaScript skills on the website. Students can take their website home on the last day of the camp. After lunch, they will dive into the world of 3D printing and get to know why everyone is so excited about 3D printing & endless possibilities it offers. They will learn how to design objects in 3 Dimensions. In Digital Design, students will learn how to create graphics for web use or printing. Artplay! Theatre and fine art collide! Join us for a new exploration of art history using the body and voice. Create scenes and mini plays using classic paintings and sculpture as the basis for story-creation, characters, and setting. Though improvisation, cooperation, and movement exploration, students will craft their own masterpieces of theatre inspired by art! Summer String Fest I with Laura Norris - The Philadelphia School
This program is designed to be an extension of musical learning for students who currently take private violin or cello lessons. During this camp we will learn new songs, discuss playing technique, learn basic music theory, and play music games. We will end the week with a mini-performance, during which campers can showcase what theyve learned. Students who wish to participate must have completed at least one year of private lesson study on their instrument. Early drop off is available at no additional cost from 8:00am-9:00am.
