Stop Motion Animation Class Spring - Villa Academy
In this 9 week course, Create your own story through the BEAM Experience! Using the process of creative problem solving, each week campers will learn to brainstorm ideas, outline, build, animate, and publish their own distinctive stop motion movie. Working in teams of 2-3, students will create a story based on ideas from their own imaginations and bring them to life one frame at a time. Adding your own unique cinematic score and dialogue truly brings the movie to life! Building and set materials include LEGO® bricks, recycled materials, cardboard, straws and architecture materials to fuel their imagination. In addition you will learn how stop motion is used in modern commercials, television and feature films to create inspiring works of art. 206-524-7009

Little League Camp Week 2 - Sunken Diamond
The Stanford Baseball School (Part ONE), along with the Stanford Games Camp (Part TWO), are designed to be taken simultaneously by those that enjoy and have a passion for the game. Participants will first be grouped by age, ability, and prior experiences. During the morning instructional session throughout each week, participants will be coached in several baseball skills, fundamentals, and team concepts. Members of the camp will receive instruction in a variety of areas including hitting, infield play, outfield play, pitching, catching, rundowns, double plays and base running. Finally, everyday campers will hit in our hitting facility. In the Games Camp (Part TWO) players are grouped by age and ability and teams are formed. Teams play against one another in a coach pitched game where the goal is to see that ball put into play. Mixup 7/5 - 7/8 - Rockridge BART - (base of the escalators)
This is our Mixup week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. July 3 camp not included unless added with purchase session option. Day 1: July 4th observed on this day - Camp Day will not be run Day 2: TBD Day 3: TBD Day 4: TBD Day 5: TBD (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations. DebateAble is an after-school debate club program for 4th and 5th graders - no debate experience necessary! DebateAble operates as a separate debate club at each school, providing children with the opportunity to learn critical thinking skills, empathy, analysis, and public speaking in a fun and positive environment.
