Period 1 - Beginning Woodworking - NBJH Room 116
Incoming 5th and 6th graders will learn the basic usage and safety of HAND TOOLS including a coping saw, file, sanding block, and cordless drill. Some small machines may be used such as the scroll saw, spindle sander, Dremel engraver, and drill press. All activities will be demonstrated and supervised by Mr. Caris, the current Woodworking teacher at NBJH. Students will choose a project from a beginner list. Other projects will be available if time permits. Projects choices include a can lamp, small cutting board, name block, or tombstone clock. 8475043400 x2520

All Skills Day Camp *click for description - Colorado Volleyball Camp
The all skills camp covers all aspects of the game of volleyball with an emphasis on fundamentals. The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows players to develop into high level athletes as they continue to play. All skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, defense, blocking, serving as well as offensive and defensive systems. Every registration requires full payment. A $50 fee will be retained on all cancellations for any reason to cover credit card fees and administrative expenses. The remaining amount will be credited back to ones account if paid by credit card. If paid by check, the University will cut a check back to the original payee. For prompt processing, refund requests should be made prior to the start of camp. A pro-rated fee system will be in effect for those campers only attending partial days of camp. P.M. Club - Albuquerque Academy
Our P.M. Club provides a safe environment for children to enjoy after 3:30 p.m., when our regular programs end. Activities include arts and crafts, outdoor organized games, free play, and reading time. Bring a snack and a water bottle—and wear sunscreen, a hat, and athletic shoes. If you fail to pick up your child on time, late pick-up fees apply. (Be sure to read Pick-Up policy.) Kristen Bauer is a first grade teacher at Zuni Elementary School, where she is dedicated to motivating children to learn to the best of their abilities.
