I sent my teenager to the Taft Summer School in Watertown, CT this past summer and I am so glad I did! She was able to get intensive learning in a school environment, but it wasn't school. Teen Script Writing & Directing Camp - Seattle, WA
This summer camp is for teens 13 - 17, who want to learn how to create a production ready short script. Students will be paired in groups of two and will work collaboratively in creating a shootable three to five page script. Students who participate in TheFilmSchool Camp will receive guaranteed admission into the SIFF Teen Production Camp (separate registration and fee through SIFF Education). Scripts from the TheFilmSchool Camp will be chosen for production in the SIFF Teen Production Camp and will be shot at Seattle Center. Date: August 15 - August 19. Time: 10:00 am - 3:30 pm Location: Siff Film Center at Seattle Center Campus

Shockwave Fitness and Performance Sports Camps offer the perfect combination of expert training and FUN! Every parent wants greatness for their child/teen and our camps are designed to do just that! Our multi-sport camps are designed to improve every aspect of athletic development and sports performance, taking your young athlete from GOOD to GREAT. Animals have amazing adaptations to help them survive and thrive. Investigate these features through examining the shapes and power of fish, shark, and dolphin fins, the flying abilities of birds, the diverse abilities of animal legs and paws, and the power of claws. Take part in an animal adaptation auction, dissect a crab, and use microscopes to make new adaptation discoveries. Includes: microscopes, 1 boat trip, & snorkeling 860-535-9362

Harness up and get ready for an adventure-fueled week of fitness and fun at Triangle Rock Club. Find your adventurous side and strengthen your abilities while conquering over 27,000 square feet of climbing terrain. We will reach new heights as we climb, boulder, work as a team, and even climb blindfolded! No previous climbing experience is required. We will create our own architectural firm for the chance to build things in 3D: a hockey rink, football stadium, golf course, art gallery, a museum, a roller coaster theme park, an aquarium, or even the great Roman Coliseum! As future architects, learn about perspective drawing and go outdoors to draw the architecture of Cary Academy.
