Registrations are now being accepted for Ice Town Carlsbad: Sunday March 20th April: 3, 10, 17, 24 May: 1 from 11:30am- 12:30pm 2016 Lil Kings Program requirements: Participant must be between the ages of 4-8 as of March 12th, 2016. 2013, 2014, and 2015 Lil Kings participants are not eligible. Participant must have no prior ice hockey experience. This program is for first time players only. CCM equipment will be professionally fitted and picked up at the Official Lil Kings fitting event. Additional details on the official Lil Kings fitting event will be sent out after your registration is confirmed. The LA Kings highly recommend skating lessons before the Lil Kings event. Please contact your local ice rink for details on learn to skate programs. Retreat 2016: Endurance - Proclaiming the Everlasting Kingdom - Naches
Each year the WGBC youth and guests spend 3 days in fellowship and under intensive instruction in the Word. The program includes worship services, bonfire fellowship, games, and various activities. This is a unique opportunity to establish new friendships, renew the old, and serve each other. But the most important aspect of this retreat is the time during the services when young people will be united in worship. Another great blessing of this time is the opportunity to interact with our pastors who will be there with us the whole time. This year's theme: The book of Daniel was written to encourage the Jews in exile by revealing God’s program for them. They are reminded that God is sovereign over the affairs of all rulers and nations. A key aspect within the overarching theme of God’s kingly control is Messiah’s coming to rule the world in glory over all men (2:35, 45; 7:13, 14,27). All of the kingdoms of this world will come to an end and will be replaced by the Lord’s kingdom, which will never pass away (2:44; 7:27). Though trials and difficulties will continue for the saints up until the end, those who are faithful will be raised...

Camp Cordova-Week 5 - Hagan Community Park
Fun for children ages 5 to 11 Each week is a new theme with fun outdoor adventures and field trips every Thursday. This camp is sure to educate and entertain your children! Theme: Deep Sea Divers Field Trip: Movies MULTIPLE SESSION DISCOUNT: Register online for three sessions or more at once and receive $10 off each session. Looking for some more Cedar Run fun? We offer special Discovery by the Day sessions at the beginning and end of summer. You can pay by the day to accommodate your scheduling needs. Activities will be planned so campers attending for just a few days wont feel like they missed out! When you know your childs schedule you can pay for only those days of adventure you need. Sing-up for the whole week and save. All days run 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Ages 6-10 only. Wrestling (Mondays Only) - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Beginners and experienced wrestlers alike will be challenged at this camp. This technique camp will provide instruction on stance, level changing, circling, shooting and sprawling. High school students attending the camp will work on leg riding offense and defense, throws and throw defense, rolls, advance shot defense, scoring from an offensive position, and mental toughness. This camp will run Mondays only. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, wrestling shoes (highly recommended), socks, towel, water bottle and lunch/snack. Headgear, mouth guard, knee pads, etc., are optional. 248-373-5300
Cougarette Dance Camp - Brigham Young University
Join BYU Cougarette Artistic Director Jodi Maxfield and the BYU Cougarettes for the best dance camp of the year! This camp is designed to prepare those who may have a desire to audition for and become part of the nine-time National Champion BYU Cougarette Dance Team. Train under the direction of BYUs nationally recognized dancers, including former and current BYU Cougarettes who have been on many of those successful national award-winning teams. You will receive quality instruction in all aspects of dance including technique, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, character and pom. Find out first hand what it takes to become a BYU Cougarette and learn how to prepare to succeed at the college level. Camp participants will be divided into groups that will allow the intermediate level dancer the time to increase her technique and improve on performance and showmanship. History Comes Alive with Classical Theater - Wizard of Oz - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
This is a truly unique course especially designed for the home-schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. This classic novel/play will be interpreted and performed as students discuss the playwright and the time in which the author lived. History comes alive as students also create living portraits of imaginary and real characters during that period of history. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters from the pen of L. Frank Baum... Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, Oz, Munchkins, Winged Monkeys, The Witch of the North, and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of her magical slippers.
