Back by popular demand, Camp Broadway returns to San Antonio with our New York team of Broadway professionals to present our annual classic summer camp. Camp Broadways Original Summer Program enables theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. Our staff will immerse your child in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that allows all campers to be successful regardless of experience level. Inspired by Broadways cherished works and steeped in its grand traditions, Camp Broadway is designed to build confidence, inspire creative expression, and instill well-being in both aspiring artists and future audiences. The package includes: 5 days (40 hours) of instruction in singing, acting, and dancing by trained Broadway professionals Master classes with Broadway artists Q&A Sessions with area industry professionals Backstage seminar with a production crew Official Camp Broadway t-shirts Official Cast of Characters headshot Healthy lunches, snacks and water Complimentary admission to the Family Finale The program culminates in a special Family Finale musical presentation. Makemie Woods is a wonderful place for kids to learn new things, meet new friends and become a part of a "family." The program has had consistent leadership for over 20 years- unsual for progams like this. Quality staff provide great role models. Both of my boys attended and had a wonderful time. Teen Improv Summer Camp - Norfolk, VA
Jump head first into the wonderful world of improv comedy. This camp is open to teens from the age of 13 to 18, and absolutely no experience is needed. Students will explore the key tools behind both long and short form improvisation. We will play numerous improv games which will help to sharpen your mind and strengthen your public-speaking, social and team-building skills. We strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where teens can build confidence, make friends, and most importantly ... have fun. At the end of camp, all students will take part in a graduation show on the Push Comedy Theater stage. Students will also be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. The Teen Improv Summer Camp will be July 11 thru 15 from 1pm to 3pm. Tutition: $200

All camps will be taught with the new USTA 10 and under teaching style. Players will be grouped by ability and will learn all aspects of the game. Technical strokes, keeping score, rallying and competing. Players will have the ability to play in USTA play days held monthly. The All Pro Football Camp teaches campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This camp is ideal for children who have never played organized football, as well as those who have played youth football for several years. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as ?Punt, Pass, and Kick? and ?NFL Fast Football?. All equipment will be provided. Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. For rising 3rd-5th grade students Dont come unraveled by summer boredom! Learn a new hobby at knitting camp! All students will learn the basics of knitting: how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, and make I-cord. There will be three different projects each week. Other fun activities may include dying yarn with Kool-Aid and a basic weaving project. You may register for just the first week, or both!
